The Lion in Winter (1968) - Clip
The 12th Century, and the obsession of Henry II of England to find a successor, after the death of the heir to the throne, causes him, one Christmas, to summon his three remaining sons. Also summoned is his wife, the formidable Eleonor of Aquitaine, who he has kept imprisoned for the last 10 years. The fiery relationship between Henry II and Queen Eleonor is powerfully portrayed; their passions turn from tenderness to hurry as they scheme and cajole, with their sons, to determine who will be the future King of England.- published: 24 Jan 2014

WARKWORTH CASTLE 2011
WARKWORTH CASTLE 2011
Warkworth Castle is a ruined medieval building in the town of the same name in the English county of Northumberland. The town and castle occupy a loop of the River Coquet, less than a mile from England's north-east coast. When the castle was founded is uncertain: traditionally its construction has been ascribed to Prince Henry of Scotland in the mid-12th century, but it may have been built by King Henry II of England when he took control of England's northern counties. Warkworth Castle was first documented in a charter of 1157--1164 when Henry II granted it to Roger fitz Richard. The timber castle was considered "feeble", and was left undefended when the Scots invaded in 1173. Roger's son Robert inherited and improved the castle. Robert was a favourite of King John, and hosted him at Warkworth Castle in 1213. The castle remained in the family line, with periods of guardianship when heirs were too young to control their estates. King Edward I stayed overnight in 1292 and John de Clavering, descendant of Roger fitz Richard, made the Crown his inheritor. With the outbreak of the Anglo-Scottish Wars, Edward II invested in castles including Warkworth where he funded the strengthening of the garrison in 1319. Twice in 1327 the Scots besieged the castle without success. John de Clavering died in 1332 and his widow in 1345, at which point Henry de Percy, 2nd Baron Percy, took control of Warkworth Castle, having been promised Clavering's property by Edward III. Henry Percy, 1st Earl of Northumberland, added the imposing keep overlooking the village of Warkworth in the late 14th century. The fourth earl remodelled the buildings in the bailey and began the construction of a collegiate church within the castle, but work on the latter was abandoned after his death. Though Algernon Percy, 10th Earl of Northumberland, supported Parliament during the English Civil War, the castle was damaged during the conflict. The last Percy earl died in 1670. In the mid-18th century the castle found its way into the hands of Hugh Smithson, who married the indirect Percy heiress. He adopted the name "Percy" and founded the dynasty of the Dukes of Northumberland, through whom possession of the castle descended. In the late 19th century, the dukes refurbished Warkworth Castle and Anthony Salvin was commissioned to restore the keep. Alan Percy, 8th Duke of Northumberland, gave custody of the castle to the Office of Works in 1922. Since 1984 English Heritage has cared for the site, which is a Grade I listed building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.- published: 05 Jan 2014

THE BLACK POPE RULES THE PAPAL BLOODLINES
THE BLACK POPE RULES THE PAPAL BLOODLINES
Bush is closely related to the king of Albania and has kinship with every member of the British royal family and the House of Windsor. He is related to 20 British Dukes, the 13th cousin of Britain's Queen Mother, and of her daughter Queen Elizabeth. He is 13th cousin once removed from Prince Charles and has direct descent from King Henry III, Charles II, and Edward I of England. Through the House of Windsor and King Henry III, the Bush's and Bill Clinton are genetically related as well. "According to Burke's Peerage, even according to the official genealogy, Bill Clinton is genetically related to the House of Windsor, the present royal family in Britain; to every Scottish monarch; to King Henry III of England; and to Robert I of France." In 2004 George W. Bush ran as a "Republican" against "Democrat" John Forbes Kerry - his 16th cousin. These cousins, related to the same British and French monarchs, are also secret society brothers in the infamous Skull and Bones fraternity. John Kerry descends from King Henry II of England and Richard the Lionheart, leader of the third Christian crusade in 1189. He also has links to royalty in Albania, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Persia, and France, but still not enough royal genes to top George Bush. Earlier in 2000 we see the same story - George W. Bush ran neck and neck with Al Gore; another supposed democrat and cousin of the Bush family. here you can read more about the royal Presidential Bloodlines http://vaticannewworldorder.blogspot.com/search?q=royal+Presidential+Bloodlines THE ROYAL BLOODLINES RULE THE WORLD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5vU-kXuqSo The True13 Papal Illuminist Gray Master Luciferian Bloodlines - Arcana Arcanorum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgHLLyldwok RULERS OF EVIL - F. The setting of "Etang de Pezieres" is Indre-et-Loire, France, at a pond that feeds the site of a former Catholic monastery, Chartreuse de Liget, founded by Henry Plantagenet (Henry II of England) to atone for the murder of Thomas Becket (St. Thomas of Canterbury). The wooded surroundings of this site contain a chapel that resonates with stillness - as well as the cyclical and constant progression of man through history and time. The skeletal trees, almost like a spider's web, are ever-swaying but rooted and never-moving, fixed, staring.
This film contains 52 one hour segments that were shot weekly, based on lighting conditions chosen by the artist, in one fixed location. Over the course of a year, the camera's focus pulls back and forth between activity on the pond and its wooded surroundings - capturing the progression of nature through the season such as rain, snow, the blossoming of leaves and sunset. Once the film arrives at summer and the trees are in full leaf, the focus is once again brought closer inside the woods.
"Etang de Pezieres" is Blondes' latest work and was created simultaneously to 'Length of Days', another piece set on the same pond but which holds a more calculated timing structure.
Please note: This is not the actual film. These sequences are a selection of 20 second segments with no transitions, excerpted from the original work.

A Tear For Sarah
Odiham Castle (also known locally as King John's Castle) is a ruined castle situated near Odiham in Hampshire, United Kingdom. It is one of only three fortresses built by King John during his reign.
The site was possibly chosen by King John because he had visited the area in 1204 and it lay halfway between Windsor and Winchester.
In 1215 it was from either Odiham or Windsor that King John rode out to Runnymede where he met the barons and signed the Magna Carta. A year later Odiham Castle was captured by the French after a two-week siege during the First Barons' War in 1216.
Odiham Castle might have become one of the most important strongholds in England. In 1238 Simon de Montfort married King John's daughter Eleanor just two years after she had been granted Odiham by her brother, King Henry III. However de Monfort rebelled against Henry and died at the Battle of Evesham in 1265 and Eleanor was exiled. Odiham Castle was again retained by the Crown.
The castle was also involved in the rebellion led by the powerful Despenser family against Roger Mortimer and Queen Isabella of France, the wife of Edward II.
During the fourteenth century Odiham hosted Parliament. Scottish King David II, after his capture at the Battle of Neville's Cross in 1346, was also imprisoned here for 11 years. However he was held under light guard and was allowed to keep a household.
By the 15th century Odiham was now used only as a hunting-lodge. In 1605 the former royal castle was described as a ruin.
The nearby village filmed here is Upton Grey,
The famous Elizabethan poet, George Puttenham, lived at Herriard House but also had a farm at Upton Grey. It was there that he kept his seventeen-year-old sex slave whom he had kidnapped in London. Eventually she was released when Puttenham's long suffering wife discovered her existence.

Sad stories of the death of kings.
This video was blocked for German users of Youtube.
King Uther; King Arthur; Queen Morgana ('Camelot'); King Stephen; Queen Maud ('The Pillars of the Earth'); King Edward II; King Edward III ('World Without End'); King Richard II; King Henry IV; King Henry V ('The Hollow Crown' from BBC); King Henry VIII [and three of his queens: Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard] ('The Tudors'); King Edward VI; Queen Jane Grey ('Lady Jane'); Queen [Bloody] Mary ('The Tudors', 'Elizabeth'); Queen Elizabeth I ('Elizabeth', 'The Golden Age').
I could also mention some other historical characters I used and even the names and dates of the battles, but I hardly think that anyone cares :D
So this is my tribute to some of Kings and Queens of English history. Did you expect me to be such a nerd, huh? Well, I bet anyone of my friends can tell that I'm just crazy about history of some countries and mainly about England ofc. I need to say big thanks to England for what I am now (this sounds completely weird, I know!). I dedicated a lot of time to studying it and it was all just from my own good because we learn only Russian history at our school. I'm very passionate about Britain, I love reading about its legends, folklore, monarchs, wars, traditions, culture... English history even inspired me to write two big academic works in English on different themes so, yes, I also did some research myself (and won the conferences with both of my academic works :DD). I bet it made my english much better, it even inspired me to start writing my own poems, stories, even songs (though no one heard them lol). So, yes, I made this mainly for myself, I NEEDED to make such a thing. It all started when I watched 'The Hollow Crown' (based on Shakespeare's plays that I read as well :D) from BBC last summer and the quote from the first film, which I used at the begining, reminded me of some other kings (especially Henry VIII being 'haunted by the ghostos he has deposed') and there it started. So the idea is really old but I got to develop it only now! And I don't care about using such an overused song at all, haters gonna hate. This is my vision of the song. You see, many overused songs actually have much deeper meanings than some vidders put into their works and it really annoys me. I'm not saying that I'm the only one who's so understaning, no, and I'm not saying that all the songs with words 'kingdom', 'crown' etc. are about past times and kings only, no! I just think that quite a big part of youtube vidders is working only with trendy fandoms/songs without putting any feelings into their works. I really try to be different and vid what I want to vid and I'm creating videos to express my own emotions, not to show that I'm a fan of sth or earn more subs and views by using popular fandoms and songs, you know... It's very hard to explain it, I doubt someone would understand. Well, I tried at least :)
So (I don't think anyone's still reading this), this was an attempt to show my emotions towards some episodes and characters of English history. I truly hope someone shall understand what I did in the video and even what I tried to show.
The comments are HIGHLY appreaciated! I hope you all enjoy :)
