John Amplas (born June 23, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American actor known primarily for his work with director George A. Romero. His first work with Romero was the cult filmc Martin (1977), in which he played the title role. Thereafter, he has appeared in a number of other films directed by Romero, including Dawn of the Dead (1978), Knightriders (1981), Creepshow (1982), and Day of the Dead (1985). He has recently acted in a horror concept teaser entitled The Three (2011) directed by filmmaker Scott Goldberg which also features co-lead from Day of the Dead Lori Cardille. He starred also in the feature film adaption of the Rob Steigert short film Ombis.

Amplas currently teaches acting at Point Park University.

The Sheep is a character, created by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll. It appeared in Dodgson's book, Through the Looking-Glass, the sequel to his book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

The Sheep is first mentioned in the fifth chapter of Through the Looking-Glass, "Wool and Water". The White Queen is talking to Alice, when she suddenly starts "baa-ing" and then seems to 'wrap herself in wool'. Alice figures out she is in a shop, and that The White Queen has turned into a sheep. The Sheep sits in her chair knitting as Alice looks around the shop. She gives Alice a pair of her knitting needles, and asks her if she can row. As Alice begins to answer, she realizes that they are in a little boat, and that the needles have turned into oars. As they glide along the water, the Sheep repeatedly shouts out "Feather," and tells Alice that they will be catching crabs. Alice's attention is then put onto some scented rushes growing in the water. She tries picking them, but they are only 'dream rushes' and melt away. She then quickly catches a crab, which she actually didn't see, and they are all suddenly in the shop again. Alice buys an egg from the Sheep (that ends up turning into Humpty Dumpty) and the two part ways.

Lori Cardille (born 1954) is an American actress, best known for her lead role in George A. Romero's Day of the Dead (1985). Her father, Bill "Chilly Billy" Cardille, appeared as a reporter in the original Night of the Living Dead (1968).

She is well known for her role as Winter Austin #1 on the ABC soap opera The Edge of Night. She left that role because it reminded her of a past memory in which she was a victim of sexual abuse. She later joined the cast of the soap opera Ryan's Hope. She is the author of the book I'm Gonna Tell: ...an Offbeat Tale of Survival (ISBN 978-0595142033). Cardille has recently starred in a short horror film called The Three, which reunited her with her Day of the Dead co-star John Amplas. In the film, Amplas and Cardille play a pair of scientists, as they did in Day.

Thomas Vincent "Tom" Savini (born November 3, 1946) is an American actor, stuntman, director, award-winning special effects and makeup artist. He is known for his work on the Living Dead films directed by George A. Romero, as well as Creepshow, The Burning, Friday the 13th, The Prowler, and Maniac. He directed the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead. Though officially retired from special effects, he has continued to direct, produce and star in several movies. Savini has been known to refer movie make-up effects projects to graduates of his school. He has appeared in films such as Dawn of the Dead (and its remake), From Dusk till Dawn, Grindhouse, and Machete.

Savini was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was raised in the Catholic religion and graduated from Central Catholic High School, later attending Carnegie-Mellon University. Savini served in Vietnam as a combat photographer. Savini continued to practice with makeup in Vietnam, often frightening indigenous peasants by appearing to suddenly transform into a "monster".

Martin Osborne Johnson CBE (born 9 March 1970) is an English former rugby union player who represented and captained England and Leicester. He is mostly known for captaining England to victory in the World Cup in 2003. He became the new England team manager on 1 July 2008, replacing the previous manager Brian Ashton. He is regarded as one of the greatest locks to have ever played. He toured three times with the British and Irish Lions, becoming the only man to have captained them on two separate tours. He also led his club Leicester Tigers to back-to back Heineken Cup victories and won the league six times. Despite no coaching experience, he was appointed team manager of the national England Rugby Union side in April 2008, but left the post in November 2011.

Johnson was born in Solihull in the West Midlands, the second of three brothers — his younger brother Will plays back row forward. At the age of seven, his family moved to Market Harborough, Leicestershire,where Martin attended Ridgeway Primary School, Welland Park School and Robert Smyth School.
