http://thinkrich.caroviljoen.com - What Dances Were Popular In The 1930s - Alice Baker Chorus Dancer 1930s Alice Barker was a chorus line dancer during the Harlem Renaissance of the the 1930s and 40s. She danced at clubs such as The Apollo, Cotton Club, and Zanzibar Club, with legends including Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, and Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. Although she danced in numerous movies, commercials and TV shows, she had never seen any of them, and all of her photographs and memorabilia have been lost over the years. With the help of Mark Cantor of http://jazz-on-film.com we finally our hands on three "Soundies" Alice appeared in, and were able to show them to her for the very first time. Each of us needs to awaken to a sense of our own personal responisbilities to ourselves, to our families and to our country. Alice Baker calls it Personal Patriotism. She's encouraging Random Acts of Patriotism and she's leading by example. She produced and paid for this ad to run on several radio stations around the state of Utah prior to the election. I put pictures to it to make it into a video. We're promoting Morgan Philpot for Utah's 2nd Congressional District.

This guy was claiming to be down for the cause. Turned out he was just an arab. He actually asked us to start up a new crew with him, all he got was two of the new switchblades in his body. Go be with your own kind and stay out of our way boy. Grand Theft Auto V https://store.playstation.com/#!/da-dk/tid=CUSA00411_00
When I'm awake at night, sometimes I picture you
And hear those words again you said, "I'm leaving"
I couldn't hold you down and not expect that you would drown
I'm a clown, but no one's laughing
Maybe you're from another planet, one I want to invade
It's all been said (it's all been said)
To me you're dead (to me you're dead)
And it's time you turn your page
I'm not sure what it was that led us down a dead-end road
Some of those signs can be quite deceiving
I knew your favorite things, didn't know that one of them was someone else
I'm done believing
Someday there will be understanding
Everyday is a tragedy
It's me you blame (it's me you blame)
But it's the shame (but it's the shame)
That you will always carrie, that wou will always carrie
