Patrick (2013)
Plot
Patrick lays comatose in a small private hospital, his only action being his involuntary spitting. When a pretty young nurse, just separated from her husband, begins work at the hospital, she senses that Patrick is communicating with her, and he seems to be using his psychic powers to manipulate events in her life.

Plot
Hoping to cash in on the final stages of the found-footage phenomenon, a shady LA producer hires a small crew of cult-icon, has-been and never-were filmmakers to 'whip up' a supernatural, first-person perspective ghost story on a pitifully low budget. Along with a handful of amateur actors, the group heads into the woods and sets about rigging up 'scares' and planning the story with varying degrees of enthusiasm. After filming the first gag, the actors return to base camp to find the crew has been brutally murdered. MOST of the crew, anyway... Now the actors are lost far from home and being hunted stalked by a vicious killer with an eye for cinema.

Plot
In June 2000, a young filmmaker, Jay Prychidny, witnessed an incident of alcohol poisoning at his "after-grad" party. The video replicates the event as well as the confusion around how to respond appropriately. The video and guide have been produced to help youth, and the people who work with them, develop safety strategies to reduce their risks. The guide will support the teacher/facilitator in examining some key issues and lead youth in coming up with "safer partying" plans. Young people told us that this video is a very realistic enactment of party behaviour and many thought it was real. The video became a springboard for discussions about taking responsibility for a friend, and when to call for help.

Plot
Ex-Navy SEAL Brad Cartowski is injured during an attack at Athens airport by terrorists who kidnap his wife and fly her on a hijacked plane to North Africa. Cartowski goes in pursuit, aided by another ex-SEAL, Cody Grant. Cartowski soon finds the terrorists' hide-out but is captured and electro-tortured before he manages to escape. He soon returns with reinforcements to rescue his wife and to wreak vengeance on Carlos, head of the terrorist ring.

Patrick is a 1978 Australian horror film directed by Richard Franklin and written by Everett De Roche. It is the pivotal movie of respected Australian director Richard Franklin's career.
Patrick (Robert Thompson) lies in a coma in a Melbourne private hospital. He had murdered his mother and her lover three years ago by electrocuting them in the bath. Patrick, who has psychokinetic powers, falls in love with Kathy (Susan Penhaligon), the new nurse at the hospital, communicating with her via an electric typewriter. Patrick also uses his psychokinetic powers to control the men in Kathy's life and to defend himself against the hospital's bitter Matron Cassidy (Julia Blake) who plots to murder him.
The film was nominated in three categories, including Best Film, at the 1978 AFI Awards. Franklin also won the Best Director prize at the prestigious Sitges Fantasy Film Festival in Spain.
The Encyclopedia of Fantasy notes the similarity between the movie's plot and that of the novel Tetrasomy Two by "Oscar Rossiter" (non de plume of Dr. Vernon H.Skeels (1918-2007) ).
