Denver (officially, The City and County of Denver) (/ˈdɛnvər/; Arapaho: Niinéniiniicíihéhe') is the capital and most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Colorado. As of 2014, Denver is also the most populous county in Colorado. Denver is located in the South Platte River Valley on the western edge of the High Plains just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The Denver downtown district is located immediately east of the confluence of Cherry Creek with the South Platte River, approximately 12 mi (19 km) east of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Denver is nicknamed the Mile-High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5,280 ft or 1,610 m) above sea level, making it one of the highest major cities in the United States. The 105th meridian west of Greenwich, the longitudinal reference for the Mountain Time Zone, passes directly through Denver Union Station.
A police force is a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property, and limit civil disorder. Their powers include the legitimized use of force. The term is most commonly associated with police services of a sovereign state that are authorized to exercise the police power of that state within a defined legal or territorial area of responsibility. Police forces are often defined as being separate from military or other organizations involved in the defense of the state against foreign aggressors; however, gendarmerie are military units charged with civil policing.
Law enforcement, however, constitutes only part of policing activity. Policing has included an array of activities in different situations, but the predominant ones are concerned with the preservation of order. In some societies, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, these developed within the context of maintaining the class system and the protection of private property. Many police forces suffer from police corruption to a greater or lesser degree. The police force is usually a public sector service, meaning they are paid through taxes.

We live in an era where discussions about use of force by police have become more tense than ever. The Denver Police Department has made pledges to assess and deal with forceful interactions with the public, and this year they unveiled a some new training tech that shows they've put their money where their mouth is. The VirTra V-300 is a 360° simulator that allows for an endless supply of choose-your-own adventure scenarios for law enforcement training. Officers must use their minds and voices as well as their sidearms to quell a given situation. While the old school "shoot/don't shoot" decisions are still present in this new system, trainees are encouraged to deescalate situations before it comes to a trigger-pulling choice.

Brandon Marshall isn't just kneeling during the anthem, he's being active in addressing the issues behind his protest. The Broncos linebacker met with Denver Police Chief Robert White for about an hour Tuesday discussing complex issues, and how they could fix them. There's no simple fix, but talking about it is a good first step, and it seems like both sides understood each other's stance. “This was an opportunity, to use a football analogy, to ‘move the ball forward,’” White said, via the Denver Post. “We can never address the issues that we’re faced with in this country if, No. 1, we don’t have respect for the other side of the table and, No. 2, we can’t find some common ground to move forward. From my perspective, I wanted to hear what he had to say. But I also wanted to represent law...

[Shift Briefing]--- No psychedelic drugs were consumed during the making of this video. Follow on Instagram, talk to me, suggest a mod, I'll of course follow back, Google+ if you want, but noone really uses Google+, at least I dont, so... *NOTE: Due to my style of LCPDFR Video making I play with and use many different mods and get them from many different places. Therefore, when asked "What mod is this" or "Can you send me a link to XX mod?" please understand that it would be entirely tedious to not only create a full pack of cars each time I make a video, but then to also keep track of where I get those mods, or try to hunt down a link when the vehicle could have been found with a simple Google search, or Bing if you're into Bing. However, these are the sites that I normally get my mod...

Scroll to 18:30 for the weed part... We got pulled over for no legit reason. They said a light was out which in fact it did work. We apparently had a hazardous thing in the windshield which was only a air freshener. Got the car searched without consent. It also got towed when there was indeed insurance. I got a ticket for having a pipe for weed which in the state of Colorado according to Amendment 64 weed is indeed legal since November 6th 2012. All around this was straight harassment by cops which we've never experienced before. Not to mention but we beat all the charges in the end!
