FORT PIERCE, Fla. — An 18-year-old woman driving in her underwear caught the eye of police following some early morning traffic infractions, according to recently released records. She was arrested on a DUI charge after the 3:16 a.m. Oct. 21 incidents. Police stopped the 2001 Honda as she was speeding and driving recklessly on Seaway Drive. The women smelled of booze and said she'd had a shot. She took field sobriety exercises before police arrested her on a DUI charge.

WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT Mothers DUI Arrest of Christina West WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT Mothers DUI Arrest of Christina West WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT Mothers DUI Arrest of Christina West Chilling video shows mother of two screaming in horror as police officers 'break her cheekbone during violent DUI arrest' A video has surfaced showing Florida police officers slamming a 44-year-old woman onto the hood of a police car and then onto the ground with such force that she suffered a broken orbital bone in her face, a bloody nose and multiple other injuries. The video - recorded by a dashboard camera inside a Tallahassee police cruiser and obtained by Tallahassee.com - begins with officers asking Christina West, a mother of two, to perform a field sobriety test. Following the test, she is handcuffed and placed into the back seat of a patrol car. Several minutes later, one officer explains to another - who appears to be in training - how to formally request that West take a breathalyzer test. That officer then opens the door of the police cruiser where West is being held, asks her to take the test, and she agrees. He orders her out of the police car and as she exits, she begins asking questions about her husband and her kids. The officers order her to be quiet and a struggle ensues. About three seconds later, two loud smacks can be heard as her head appears to hit the police vehicle. 'Oh my God,' she groans, as one officer holds her head down on the vehicle while the other keeps her restrained. 'Don't f***ing touch me!' one officer shouts. The woman, who is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, then lands face-first on the ground. As an officer holds her head to the asphalt, she lets out a series of blood-curdling screams. She cries that her face is in pain tells the officers that she has defecated in her pants. 'I think you broke my right cheek,' she says. An officer responds: 'You're fine.' 'I'm not fine, you a**hole,' she says. 'I'm not fine. I'm not fine. I'm not fine. That was unnecessary and you know it.' The officers put her in the back of the police car a couple seconds later and she continues screaming from inside the car until the video ends. Florida state Attorney Willie Meggs called the footage 'very disturbing.' 'I am extremely upset,' Meggs told the Democrat. 'This is a very disturbing situation to me, and I'm dealing with it.' West was charged with DUI and several counts of battery on a law-enforcement officer for the incident on Aug. 10. Prior to her arrest, she had reportedly driven her car off the road and into a home. Her mugshot showed her right eye purple and swollen shut with dark bruising roughly the size of a baseball. Her nose is bloody and she also reportedly had scratches on her arms and legs. She was taken to the hospital immediately after arriving at the jail. West's attorney, Fred Conrad, told Tallahassee.com that he is seeking compensation for his client, though it may not be in the form of a lawsuit. 'I was shocked to see this,' Conrad said. 'I can say I intend to pursue just compensation for Ms. West. And I can say I intend to do it relentlessly. I intend to make the police department pay for this. This is wrong. And they need to pay for it.' A probable cause statement written by arresting Officer Chris Ormerod said West was 'placed on the ground' after she resisted being put in handcuffs.

The pop star looked less cheerful than in his mugshot released earlier, as he faced Judge Joseph Farina in the courtroom. His bail was set at $2,500 in total - $1,000 for the charge of driving under the influence (DUI), $1,000 for the charge of resisting arrest without violence, and a further $500 for possessing an expired driving licence. His lawyer bent over backwards to thank the presiding Judge for seeing and processing his client so quickly, as that means Bieber can now make his way home for the first time since he was pulled over by two police officers at 4am this morning. Bieber's friend, rapper Khalil, who was arrested alongside him, also appeared in court, with the same lawyer acting for him, pending an enquiry into any potential conflict of interest. His bail was posted at $1,000 for his DUI charge. Bieber was arrested this morning, in his yellow Lambourghini on the way back from a nightclub in downtown Miami. On Monday (Jan. 20), he made headlines for partying at the King of Diamonds strip club, surrounded by six strippers in the VIP area, according to Celebuzz. TMZ was the first to break the story that also alleges that the 19 year old entertainer resisted his arrest and used profanity repeatedly when authorities took him into custody. But based on this mug shot, Justin looks happier than ever. Law enforcement confirmed that Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach, after initially being pulled over drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini, and in this video obtained by TMZ Justin's car is visibly surrounded by police, as well as multiple on-looking fans. Was involved in the race with his friend, Def Jam rapper Khalil, who was driving a red Ferrari. Khalil was also arrested. It was only later, after being pulled over and allegedly failing a field sobriety test that Justin received the DUI charge. He's also being charged for resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. Prior to the incident, Justin was spotted at Miami's SET nightclub, although he reportedly told police he was recording music. During a news conference, officials stated that Justin QUOTE "made statements that he had consumed some alcohol, been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication." In the official police report, authorities noted that after approaching Bieber's car, they noticed that he smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and a QUOTE "stupor" on his face. We should also note that at the time of his arrest, Justin was not alone in his car -- a model by the name of Chantel Jeffries was with him. She's previously dated NFL played DeSean Jackson, as well as Diddy's son, Justin Combs. As of now, we believe Justin is still in police custody in Miami, awaiting bail. Bieber was incoherent, had his hands in his pockets, was driving without a valid license and resisted arrest without violence, Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez told the Miami Herald. Test showed that Bieber was under the influence of drugs, Martinez revealed, adding the teen idol did not have a valid license. The 19-year-old's entourage had reportedly used their cars to block traffic on Pine Tree Drive at 26th Street, a residential area, at 4:30am to create a drag strip for the young singer. It's believed Bieber was driving a rented yellow super-car Lamborghini at the time with a female friend as a passenger. In an unusual move, Miami Beach Police confirmed the arrest on Twitter. "When the cars are going that fast, it takes awhile to catch up," said Martinez, whose officers heard the racing in the distance. When he was stopped by police, Bieber unleashed a barrage of F-words, police said. The teen star was stopped for drag-racing but Miami Beach before later being accused of driving under the influence. The singer is currently in custody at a police department after being busted in Miami Beach, police have confirmed. Bieber will be transferred from the police station to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where he will be able to be bailed out. An insider says another vehicle was pulled over at the scene, which is believed to be the car Bieber was allegedly racing. A source close to the situation reveals the driver - Khalil, a well-known rapper on Def Jam Records - was also arrested. Hours earlier Bieber bragged about driving the super-car and posted pictures online - these have since been deleted. In one snap he's being chauffeured around by a female. He captioned the shot: "@chanteljeffries taking me for a ride in the lambo." The 19-year-old also posted a picture of him and a pal posing in front of two Lamborghinis under the caption: "Thanks to @loulavie and @internationalc for the whips." This was also later deleted. BREAKING: Watch Justin Bieber Leaves Miami Jail After DUI Charge (SkyNews) Justin Bieber has left jail after appearing in court via videolink charged with driving under the influence of drink or drugs and resisting arrest. The teenage pop singer was earlier stopped by Miami police after apparently drag racing where he was clocked in a rented yellow Lamborghini doing around 60mph in a 30mph zone. He was arrested and taken to jail from where he made his court appearance for a bail hearing. Bieber was also charged with driving with an expired licence and bail was set by a judge at $2,500 (£1,500). Police said two SUVs had blocked the road in a residential area of Miami Beach so the 19-year-old star could race a friend, identified as R&B; singer Khalil Sharieff, who was driving a rented Ferrari. Bieber failed a sobriety test during his arrest, authorities claimed, and he swore at officers when he was stopped, according to a copy of the arrest report. An officer claimed the Canadian singer had "bloodshot eyes" and added he could smell alcohol on his breath. The star told police he was returning from a studio recording session and repeatedly asked why he had been stopped and arrested. "Why did you stop me?" he asked, according to the report. "Why do you have to search me?" Speaking at a press conference, Miami Beach Chief of Police Raymond Martinez said the singer had resisted arrest although he had done so "without violence". The officer said the star had also taken a prescription drug. Mr Martinez told reporters: "He did acknowledge that he did take a prescription medication and that he had been smoking marijuana and that he did consume a beer". Mr Martinez said the 19-year-old Canadian had been "belligerent" and had used some "choice words" when he was arrested. He said Bieber had been very cooperative once he got to the station. The star, who reportedly earned $58m (£35m) last year, arrived at Miami-Dade County Jail where he had his mugshots and fingerprints taken. The van transporting the singer, with blacked-out windows, was trailed by squad cars. Miami Dade-Police spokesman Sergeant Bobby Hernandez told WSVN in South Florida that officers saw two cars racing at 4.09am. Mr Hernandez said two vehicles apparently had been used to block off an area on Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street for the race. He said the second car was a red Ferrari, and that the driver, Khalil, was also arrested. Khalil was later charged with driving under the influence, and his bail was set at $1,000 (£600). Both cars were towed away. The Canadian pop star was pictured in the car with a woman, named in some reports as model Chantel Jeffries, in the driving seat before his arrest. The teenager has been in Florida for the past few days and has been spotted in nightclubs and at a skate park. He posted photos on Instagram of him performing tricks on his skateboard and spraying his initials onto a wall at the park. He is also alleged to have spent thousands of dollars at a strip club called the King of Diamonds. A first conviction could bring a fine of between $250 (£150) and $1,000 (£600), depending on the level of alcohol, as well as community service and possibly a jail sentence. Bieber's arrest comes just a week after the singer's California home was raided by police over claims he pelted his neighbour's house with eggs, causing thousands of dollars of damage. In that case, authorities arrested one member of Bieber's entourage, rapper Lil Za, on suspicion of drug possession. Last year the singer disappointed thousands of fans in the UK by showing up to gigs late, which left many of his young followers having to leave his performances only moments after he started performing to catch trains home. He was also involved in a scuffle outside his hotel in London during his colourful visit.
