London Youth's Future Talent - Short
London Youth supports a network of over 400 diverse community youth organisations where young people choose to go.
Future Talent was a pilot programme delivered from April 2019 until February 2020 with 10 London Youth member organisations. At the heart of Future Talent was the importance of working early with young people (aged 14-18), exciting them with opportunities and providing first-hand experience of positive career paths. Young people were supported through the trusted relationships they already held within their youth organisations and with their youth workers.

Youth pulls knife during South London street fight
Terrifying footage captures the moment a youth on a bike pulls a large knife on a motorist in broad during the middle of the day. The footage shows two men exiting a black Volkswagen in Streatham, London, on October 18 before an argument occurs with two youths on bicycles in the middle of the road and one of the cyclists pulls out a large knife. The incident follows the release of new figures showing that the number of murders in the UK has soared by 14 per cent and knife crime by 12 per cent.

London Youth Awards 2022
On 7th November 2022, we held our annual London Youth Awards! We welcomed over 250 youth professionals, young Londoners, funders, politicians and key sector figures to Conway Hall. It was the first in-person ceremony we had held since before the pandemic began.
The London Youth Awards are a unique date in the capital's calendar dedicated to celebrating youth work and the people who make it happen.
We are London Youth, a charity on a mission to improve the lives of young people in London, challenging them to become the best they can. Young people need opportunities outside school to have fun with their friends, to learn new skills, to make a positive change in their communities and to shape the city they live in.

Each of these young people, just like the thousands of others we work with, has overcome negative stereotypes and gone on to achieve incredible things with the support of their youth clubs, all of whom are London Youth members.
