COUNTERFEIT COINS ~ FAKE SILVER DOLLARS, AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES, ETC
If you travel over in Asia, especially China, you can find some place selling counterfeit coins, usually the silver variety, Morgan Silver Dollars, United States Trade dollars, American Silver Eagle Coins, counterfeit coins of Great Britain, Japan, and various other places around the world. Some Chinese folks sell these as novelty pieces, not intending to deceive people, but others will give no impression that they're not genuine, nor revealing the true metal content of the coins. Having collected coins for a lot of years, I've seen some pretty crazy stuff, not only counterfeit coins, but also plated silver bullion bars and such. The pawn shop sold me one such fake silver bar. He was totally unaware it was plated, and he had much more experience with coins and bullion than I have. Auction sites like eBay actually allow the sale of these, the terms being they must be described as 'replicas' and have a mark on them somewhere that indicates such, 'copy', 'replica', etc. Well, they don't have such marks on them anywhere, the folks selling them from China merely alter the photographs to make it appear they have such a mark. The buyer gets them and is perfectly fine that they don't have a mark on them. Some of the not honest buyers resell them where ever as genuine coinage or bullion. Sad, but true. Peace, Mark Allen Channel

Counterfeit Coins (Fake Sliver)
These are some coins that where purchased in Kingsport, Tennessee. I was told they where Sliver. And I didn't check them because I trusted the person who sold me the coins. I do not own the copyright to the coins themselves nor do I own the copyright to the American Flag. So YouTube may or may not remove this video due to copyright "infringement".

How Chinese Counterfeit Coins are Traded
The Gold & Silver PAC held a reception on March 31st honoring Congressman Lamar Smith Republican of 21st Congressional District of Texas. Mr Lamar is Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. At the meeting, David Hall, CEO of Collectors Universe/PCGS, briefly outlined how Chinese Counterfeit coins in fake PCGS holders are traded. He used the example of a dealer who was sued by PCGS for selling counterfeit PCGS PCGS holders that were made to order from Chinese manufacturers.

How To Spot: Counterfeit Chinese Coins Real Problem FAKE USA COINS
A friend of mine was shipped fake Seated dollars in hopes that she wouldn't know the difference. I wonder how many times this has worked for the crooks doing this. I wish they would blow up those factories making fake coins. Please be careful. Look at the dates on the coins, make sure they line up. Look at the edges and make sure the lines go straight up and down, not leaning. Check them with a magnet. REMEMBER, the good counterfeit coins wont stick to magnets so use this as a secondary test.

God Gives Us Up and our World is Turned Upside Down
Visit with seasoned saints and it doesn’t take long for someone to ask the question “what is wrong with this world?” Especially when the conversation turns to gay marriage, immorality of politicians or athletes or movie stars or teenagers or anyone for that matter. God has given us the answer to “what is wrong with this world?”. It is found in Romans 1:18-32. Basically the world is thinking upside down, and our attitude toward God is the determining factor! God has let us peek into the way He works when we react to Him the way we do. The bottom line is that our spiritual, emotional and mental health depend upon a right relationship to Him. Anything less will result in thinking and living that is “upside down” as far as God is concerned.
FOUNDATION of WORTHWHILE LIVING
“Listen, Israel: Yahweh is our God; Yahweh is One. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Deuteronomy 6:4-6 (HCSB)
Both God and the Jews consider this foundational truth for living a a life that is worthwhile. Jehovah God must be honored with all or our life, beginning with His place in our heart. Romans 1:18-23 paints the big picture of what happens when we do not properly honor God, fail to see Him at work in our lives (thank Him) and exalt ourselves over Him (vain thinking). Their foolish hearts become darkened and they become fools-’moraino’-worthless and good for nothing to God!
The God we worship depends upon our heart, and what we hold dear in our heart. From our heart proceeds reverence or dishonor. That feeds our emotional soul and results in a thankful attitude. An irreverent heart results in resentment and bitterness in our emotional being. Our emotional soul feds our mind and either empowers us to set our minds upon God or upon ourselves. If we set our minds on ourselves we will worship a god of our own making.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isa 26:3
But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.” Matthew 16:23
Furthermore, if we chose to worship God in only one or even two of these areas of our life, wrong worship will be the result:
If we honor God in our heart alone and neglect our emotions and thinking, we will love ANY god.
If we honor God with our emotions yet withhold our heart and our mind, we will be emotional about EVERY god.
If we set our mind on God without giving Him our heart and our emotions, we will make our OWN god.
PARADIDOMAI AND EVIL SHADOWS
Because men would not glorify God, would not make God part of their life by remembering to thank Him, and then ignored Him by becoming vain in their thinking, Creator God “gives them up” to the consequences of their unbelief – the control of sin.
“Gave up” is paradidōmi: “to give into the hands of another, to give over into one’s power or use.” Since men chose to give up God and worship the creature, God issues not only a permissive sentence, but a judicial one, whereby men discover that failure to worship God and seek after him leads to enslavement to the most hideous things, things which they thought were worth worshipping.
Remember the Movie “GHOST”?
“Paradidomi” pictures a man being delivered to prison to be subject to the power and authority of a wicked warden. If you are a fan of “Ghost” picture the scene toward the end where the evil “shadow spirits” come and take Carl Bruner (the villain) away to eternal torment. We are all applauding to know such a horrible man finally gets what he deserves.
Wuest points out that this “giving up” was first begun by man. “These people had already willfully deserted God who merely left them to their own self-determination and self-destruction, part of the price of man’s moral freedom.”
The sad truth is that any man who rejects God as God, and fails to worship His Glory, is subject to the same fate. Not just “murderers” like the character Carl Bruner. God says that any man who fails to honor and worship Him in their heart is a worthless “MORON!” Actually the word is ‘moraino’, but the same meaning is implied. Most translations use the word “FOOL.”
I COULD USE THE WORD “FOOL”, BUT I LIKE USING MORON.
God wants us to have a vivid picture of what happens when we neglect Him or deliberately fail to Worship Him. He gives us Three Pictures of the Downward Descent of Mankind when they forget God and go their own way. The evil shadow spirits are allowed to dominate and control MORONS.
Three times Romans 1 records that God “paradidomi” man. Three times God gives man up to the control of sin. Each time the consequences are frightening. The shocking image of the “evil shadows” of “Ghost” are nothing compared to the images we will paint this morning.
Perhaps it is

“Alternative Coins. Counterfeit or Visionary?” – Francesco Bernabei
6th November 2011 - Regional Museum of Natural Science
What is the economy up to? What does it do today? Do economists still exist as a profession, or are all we have science-fiction writers and statistical reports on what is happening in the various market areas? Francesco Bernabei has been asking himself these questions for years. He thinks that in times of crisis, both thought and action plans need to be reviewed: we need to change.
Francesco Bernabei is (or seeks to be) a social developer, who has worked in the past on conscientious objection, non-violence, ethical finance, alternative energy and social economics. He is currently working with Regione Basilicata to establish a Community Foundation for the artistically-minded and for the introduction of a voucher to be spent in projects supporting active citizenship.

Henry Cole Lecture 2010: Professor Uta Frith
Beth McKillop, Deputy Director, V&A;:
The purpose of the Henry Cole lecture is to celebrate the legacy of the Museum’s founding director and to explore his legacy and its implications for museums, culture and society today. We are delighted to present the 2010 Henry Cole lecture in association with the 350th anniversary celebrations of the Royal Society. Founded in 1660, the Royal Society is the academy of science for the UK and the Commonwealth. Over the course of its history it has played a leading role in the development of modern science.
I have great pleasure in welcoming this evening’s speaker, Professor Uta Frith. Professor Frith was born in Germany and studied history of art at the Universität of Saarlandes in Saarbrücken. In 1964 she moved to London where she trained in experimental and clinical psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry. She specialised in child development and its disorders, in particular autism and dyslexia. She’s been affiliated with UCL since 1968 and, with funding from the MRC, has worked as an independent research scientist. In 1996 she became one of the founding members of UCL’s Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and is now Emeritus Professor of Cognitive Development as well as Visiting Professor at the University of Aarhus in Denmark. Professor Frith is currently interested in the impact of cognitive neuroscience in education and chairs a working group at the Royal Society that is preparing a report on this topic. Professor Frith has received many honours including degrees from the universities of Gotenburg, St Andrews, Palermo, Nottingham and York. She is a Fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Society and at the British Academy she currently chairs the Psychology Section. At the Royal Society she chairs the Library Committee. She is also a Trustee of the Sir John Soane Museum.
Please join me in welcoming Professor Uta Frith.
Professor Uta Frith
Well, I think I do need to explain why it is me who is giving this third Henry Cole lecture. The lecture this year also celebrates the 350th anniversary of the Royal Society and there are connections between the V&A; and the Royal Society, in fact all over the place. Even when you just came this evening you might have noticed the little exhibit about chocolate. Did you notice it, just coming in here? Well, Sir Hans Sloane was, of course, a Fellow of the Royal Society and he brought a particular recipe to make – to add milk to chocolate – to make milk chocolate. So I’m very pleased that all of this is just casually mentioned here, but there are the British Galleries in the museum where there is quite a section around the time of 1660 which was the year when the Royal Society was founded. In fact, it was November in that year, so we have now November and in fact this is me here, pointing to a bust of Charles II who gave the Royal Charter to the Royal Society.
So I’m here as a neuroscientist who might say something that’s interesting to museum education. What I’m really trying to do today is to answer a question that was put to me by Morna Hinton, the new Director of the Sackler Centre. She just said – I’m anticipating here – what goes on in the mind of people who visit the museum? Now first of all, I want to show you a really famous Fellow of the Royal Society. This is Albert Einstein, probably as you do not know him. He is in the Royal Society portrait collection and perhaps also you may not know that there is a marvellous collection of portraits and all sorts of other artefacts and wonderful archives that is always used for continuous exhibitions at the Royal Society and you can look at the website and come and have a look round. You may also perhaps not know that there is a Centre for the History of Science at the Royal Society. But the real reason why I choose this particular Fellow of the Royal Society to start this lecture with is because he has said this marvellous sentence. ‘I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.’ Now isn’t that a nice thing to say and perhaps quite a few of us, if it wasn’t presumptuous, would say ‘Yes, I feel like that as well’.
Now there are connections, way back, between science and art at the V&A; when it was still called the South Kensington Museum. And I thought I should point out that the original entrance to this museum – and you can see this wonderful building just if you go into the garden – just look at the door, you will see a relief portraying science and another one portraying art. And it is science AND art, not, as we often see it, science versus art. And this was because the museum, the South Kensington Museum, was interested in both science and art and it took some time until the museums were split into science, across the road, and the art and design collections here. So this is the door and you can see these panels where indeed we see these nice pairs with twins – we have chemistry twinned with architecture – Da

Counterfeit Silver Coin Detection (SKB COINS)
www.skbcoins.throwinghuge.com This video is to help fellow coin Collectors and Sellers SPOT FAKE COINS! With Spot Silver prices rising to 20.00 an ounce the Chinese and others are cranking out millions of fake coins...I mean millions and the fakes are getting so good even advanced dealers and graders are being fooled! Many of these so called replicas "I'd say MOST" are unmarked and are outright dangerous. There a few things that will help you detect that they're fakes (That's why i made this video). They are even now making fake junk Quarters and Dimes. It's very lucrative for them and please check this video out for your own sake and peace of mind. There are even better fakes that use 90% Silver, but they are not used on junk coins due to production costs. Only buy higher dollar coins from a reputable dealer, in PCGS, NGC, ICG or ANACS slabs! NEVER FROM CHINA...Unless you want a few fake specimens, which isn't a bad idea. I hope this helps, Scott K. Boothby SKB COINS
