Phil Baugh (December 13, 1936 – November 9, 1990) was an American guitarist. He was known as one of the leading hot country guitarists whose "playing exuded joy and humor." He was active from the 1960s through the 1980s, performing as a highly sought-after session musician as well as a recording artist in his own right.

Phil Baugh was born in Olivehurst, California in 1936. Singer and songwriter Vern Stovall discovered him and helped him get a contract on Crest Records in 1962. With promotion from Longhorn Records in Dallas, Texas their song Country Guitar became a hit. He then recorded an album called Live Wire! as a follow up. However, it wasn't as successful. He continued to work in Southern California, including joining Ray Price's band in 1969. In 1975 he moved to Nashville where he become a popular session guitarist. In the 1980s he was part of a country/jazz band called The Superpickers. The lineup included steel guitarist Buddy Emmons, drummer Buddy Harmon, bassist Henry Stryzlecki, pianist Willie Rainsford and harmonica player Terry McMillian. He suffered a coronary in 1985 and died 5 years later at the age of 53. Baugh's "Country Guitar" and "One Man Band" were top 40 hits on Billboard's country chart during 1965.

Bobby Mackey is a classic country singer whose career has spanned 40 years. His musical style can be described by his loyalty to Hank, Haggard, Jones, Owens, Twitty and Paycheck and is the foundation for his musical success.

Bobby Mackey's was opened in September 1978 in Wilder, KY along the Licking River, (and next to the very same railroad track that Bobby worked in his youth). "Come for the ghosts, stay for the music" became a popular quote as the club's popularity began to rise. Bobby Mackey's has been featured on network television shows such as Ghost Adventures (Travel Channel), Most Terrifying Places in America / My Ghost Stories (Biography Channel), and even Jerry Springer. USA Today Quotes Zak Bagans of Ghost Adventures as saying Bobby Mackey's is "one of the 10 most haunted places in America."

Bobby Mackey's co-written 1988 song, "Johanna", about one of the supposed ghosts that haunts his nightclub has been downloaded by fans of the paranormal millions of times over.

Bobby's Most recent single "The Jones Boy", in collaboration with his producer "The OMEB", was written by Bobby Mackey about country crooner George Jones. Bobby says this is not a tribute song but a song about the man and his music as he turns 80 in September 2011.

Preston Reed (born April 13, 1955, Armonk, New York) is an American fingerstyle guitarist. In 1987 he invented a two-handed playing style and compositional approach that integrates the full percussive potential of the guitar body. In doing so Reed revolutionized guitar playing.

Preston Reed learned guitar as a child on his father's guitar and, for a short time, classical guitar with a too-severe teacher. When he was 16 his interest was rekindled by Jorma Kaukonen's acoustic guitar-playing in Hot Tuna. He took the guitar again and began to compose his own songs in the style of Leo Kottke and John Fahey. His first public performance was at Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., in a concert with Allen Ginsberg. He continued recording and performing and signed his first major label record deal with MCA Records with the help of his friend Lyle Lovett.

Reed has played with various other musicians, spanning the spectrum between Linda Ronstadt and rock band NRBQ. He was featured on American radio and TV broadcasts. Between 1979 and 2007, he recorded 15 albums on several labels - mostly solo acoustic guitar -, guest-starred on other musicians productions, founded his own Outer Bridge label and featured on two solo videos. He has been commissioned for film soundtracks and a suite of original music for the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet.
