Jiya, a wealthy young woman is about to get married and her wedding preparations are in full swing . However , all hell breaks loose when her wedding clothes arrive back from the laundry . There is a particular dress in the lot that is not Jiya’s or has anything to do with the family. The dress does not look dry-cleaned either . However, the laundry man is called and the dress is given back to him. The laundry owner goes to the dhobhi ghaat to give the dress back to the dyer Kundan who has dyed the dress . But to his utter shock, Kundan is found murdered at the ghat. The CID team gets on the case and they find out that Kundan’s murder is no random murder. It all started with the dress which, in turn, has blood of a woman on it . The cops realize that the woman to whom this dress belongs has been murdered as well. During the course of investigation , the cops discover a woman’s dead body on the same ghat . It is understood that not only was this woman at the ghat at an odd time , but her murder is connected to Kundan. Who killed whom? Where are the murder weapons? What was an upmarket woman like her doing at a dhobhi ghaat in the middle of the night? As the cops solve the two murders , they realize that these two murders at the dhobhi ghaat . Both the murders lead the cops back to Jiya’s house where all of Jiya’s family comes under suspicion who apparently had nothing to do with the murders in the first place.
