Turn up your speakers!!!! Here is a brand new Gulfstream G650 taking off right in front of me at FULL POWER!!!! I was just there for a flight lesson and I always film before every flight lesson and I was lucky enough to catch this beauty going up. It was being test flown by Proctor and Gamble's flight department, who is headquartered here at Lunken Airport. Proctor and Gamble is a worldwide corporation headquartered here in Cincinnati, so I see their jets going up quite frequently. ATC included. Callsign is Gulfstream 650PH. Filmed from the Main Terminal parking lot on Airport Road on September 24, 2013 with a Nikon Coolpix L820. Also, thank you to YouTube user ElectricGUnSmoke for allowing me to use his tripod.

Landing at one of the worlds most dangerous and difficult airports in a VIP Gulfstream 5 (G5). High mountains and surrounding terrain make a missed approach almost impossible and the steep descent profile into the airport is on the limit of what is capable in the G5. Makes for some interesting and challenging flying, I hope it makes good watching! For those interested: Final descent is at 12200ft on a 6.49 degree descent angle down to the airport elevation of 7838ft with Gear and full flaps and VREF+10 at top of descent allowing a MLW of 75000Lbs. The approach is 15 offset from the runway centreline. It is important to mention that nothing in aviation is dangerous if all rules and limitations are adhered to, it is merely a perception of danger. All commercial aviation operations are performed to the highest safety standards at all times to eliminate any risk factors.
