Fenpentadiol (Tredum, Trefenum) is a drug formerly used as an antidepressant in Europe. It also has stimulant, sedative, and anxiolytic effects, with the latter two occurring only at higher doses. Its mechanism of action has never been determined but it has been suggested that it may act as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor and/or GABAergic.
