Complex Analysis Lecture 6—Limits, analyticity and the Cauchy--Riemann equations
We properly define the limit of a complex function as well as continuity and differentiability. We give a couple of examples of seemingly nice functions for which derivatives don't exist. We then derive the Cauchy-Riemann equations and use these to rule out differentiability of some functions. Finally, we give a sufficient condition for when a function is analytic in an open set.- published: 04 Nov 2013
