The ARIA charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling singles and albums in various genres in Australia. ARIA commenced compiling its own charts in-house from the week ending 26 June 1988. Prior to this, from mid-1983, ARIA had licensed the 'Kent Music Report' (which was later renamed as the 'Australian Music Report', until it stopped being published in 1999).,

The top 5 singles and albums are firstly published in News Limited newspapers each Sunday. All charts, in full, are then published on the ARIA Chart website each Sunday night at 6:30 pm AEST, in order for printed release the next day. Each chart is dated according to the Monday of the given week. The website and printed lists are shortened versions of the full chart, with only the top 50 singles and albums shown as well as only the top 40 digital tracks. The ARIA Report lists the charts listed above in full and is available via paid e-mail subscription each week (the report transitioned from paper to pdf starting 9 October 2000 or issue #554). These reports are uploaded to the Pandora Archive periodically.

Samuel James Clark (born 18 October 1987), known simply as Sam Clark, is an Australian actor, singer-songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia, best known for his role as Ringo Brown on the Australian soap opera, Neighbours. Clark made his musical debut in 2009 with the hit single "Broken", which peaked at number one on the Australian Physical Singles Chart His third single "Devastated" also peaked at number one on the same chart. In August 2010, Clark released his debut studio album, Take Me Home.

Clark is a graduate of St Peter's College, Adelaide, and was a keen participant in several high school theatre productions, including a main role in West Side Story. In 2006, Clark formed a group (originally a duo) called, Solid White Line with members, Jake Long and James Brown.

Clark won the role of Ringo Brown after auditioning for a nation-wide Dolly Magazine competition with Adelaide Kane; as the winner, he won a three month contract with the show, which has since been extended. Clark made his Neighbours debut on 24 January 2007. The character is actually three years younger than Clark's actual age. Clark went through a long audition process compared with other Neighbours cast members, as he had to audition four times. On entering the show, Clark described Ringo as a "good-hearted kid", who does the normal things that a 16-year-old kid does. In 2009, it was announced that Clark was to take a three month break from Neighbours to focus on his music career. Clark returned to filming in February 2010. In July 2010, Clark announced that he would be leaving Neighbours in order to focus more on his music career. He said "I love acting and I'm definitely going to strive for further success in that part of my life, however music has always been a passion and I want to give it my all right now."
