PS1, PS2, PS3, PSX, Pocket Station, PSP: Playstation tribute
**PLEASE SUBSCRIBE** **PLEASE COMMENT** This is a video I made, describing a little about every Video Game console in The Playstation Series. It includes the Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation X, Pocket Station and Playstation Portable. I include pictures of each of them, since some are rare. PSX was only released in Japan due to low sales, and PocketStation was only released in Japan and had a very limited launch in United Kingdom. Watch, is a very interesting video. I also include the competitor of the consoles.

PSX Longplay [001] Metal Gear Solid (part 1 of 2)
www.longplays.net Played By RickyC METAL GEAR! awesome series, not played since forever so i didn't play that good and only on normal. I get the good ending but add the bad ending on at the end. I forgot how good the voice acting is on this! Could not get this emulation right to save my life! thought it be way easier, so there are glitches in this video. I normally solve the glitch later on though. THe worst is the stealth slowdown, the random image during president baker, some other slowdown during the lift. Oh and in some cut scenes the filter screws up i think, so people look blurry for that bit. Shouldnt of used filters but i didnt know much about them when i started the recording. Lastly, i had to run though this a couple of times because of the game crashing and me not using proper saves! So my equipment might change at some point and the end results won't be accurate to what you have seen. By the end i had a million files so i hope i edited them together right and edited out all my save state loading. Couldnt catch any myself though screen goes black for a second after a boss battle when i reset the emulator.

PSX: Final Fantasy VII - Opening Gameplay Video
Intro, leading up to the first boss fight. Enjoy it in HD. FFVII is one of my all time favorites, no question one of the Playstations top 10. The cinematics and presentation of the game pushed the idea of what an RPG should be. The storyline is long and you'll get about 60+ hours of gameplay if you experience everything the game offers. Even though the story is long, its very impressive and you'll see exactly why fans have been demanding a remake of the game on the PS3. Update: PS3 owners can now purchase a re-release of this game on the playstation store for $9.99. Play it on your PS3 or PSP.

Quake II PSX (Part 1 of 15)
Here's part 1 of a complete runthrough of Quake II for the PSX finished 100%. These are different from my original videos. They're played much better. I even cut 7 mins off of the first two hubs! Of note, since people asked this. The music is by Sonic Mayhem. The game consists of tracks from the PC version and its expansions. Nope, don't know the track names, sorry. Of the two ports (the other being N64) this is the surprisingly the superior of the two. Thanks to the programming geniuses at Hammerhead this game is running on a mere 2 megs of memory! Great graphics, great sound (more music than the PC!), and still very fun. The uber-sensitive analog controls take a while to get used to however...

ICO Playstation 1 Version [PSX Prototype - CANCELLED!]
www.unseen64.net video from Shadow Of The Colossus Japanese DVD Bonus "Already a number of Ico's elements were in place, and Ueda began to work with Kaido at this point to turn the concepts expressed in the movie into a game design for a PSone title. Their three key points were "differentiation" (to make a game unlike any other), "artistic presentation" (a level of aesthetics such that any still screen of the game would be artistic), and a "non-realistic reality" featuring a vivid heroine who would make the player want to be heroic. They began to accomplish this using a method they referred to as "subtracting design every element of the game that took away from its reality was removed. Instead of having a varied cast of enemies with unique strengths and weaknesses, for instance, there would be only one enemy type; instead of a castle, its environs, and nearby settlements, there would only be the castle and an escape from it. They also used unconventional hiring techniques: to put together a team capable of realizing Ueda's vision, they hired mostly outside of the industry to put together an initial staff of two programmers, four artists, and one designer in addition to Ueda and Kaido. A movie Ueda put together during this period shows what they had so far on the PSone version. The lone enemy type is one of the masked, horned soldiers present in the final game only during a cutscene, though the horns are now on Ico rather than Yorda. Some locations are already familiar ...

The hype and pressure put on Squaresoft after the releases of Final Fantasy VI and VII was massive. They didnt disappoint us either and continued to deliver excellence. FFVIII was another masterpiece created by Square. Update: PS3/PSP owners can now download this game for $9.99, from the Playstation Store! Enjoy! Install is 1820 MB

PSX Longplay [010] Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee (Part 1 of 2)
www.longplays.net Played By Jmchandler / Trapper's Cabin He's skinny. He wears a loincloth. And he carries no weapons. He's the guy you play. Unlock his uncanny powers and you're a hero; don't and you're dinner. Selected by the fickle finger of fate, Abe, floor-waxer first class for RuptureFarms, was catapulted into a life of adventure when he overheard plans by his boss, Molluck the Glukkonª, to turn Abe and his fellow Mudokons into Tasty Treats as part of a last-ditch effort to rescue Molluck's failing meat-packing empire. During his escape from RuptureFarms, Abe received a vision from the mysterious Big Face, showing Abe that he must not only rescue his fellow Mudokons, but also protect all of Oddworld's creatures from the predatory Magog Cartel. After completing arduous Temple trials, and journeying across a wasteland with his faithful Elum, Abe was granted the awesome power of the Shrykull. Returning to RuptureFarms, Abe destroyed the foul slaughterhouse, rescued his buddies, and brought down some righteous lightning on top of Molluck's pointy head. The oddworld games are my favorite. This is the first game in the series. It has a crappy savegame option and it is easy to bypass secret areas that you have already done when you restore. I believe that I have recorded every aspect of the game, and saved all mudokons, even though at the end, it doesn't show them all saved. I used Dazzle and Pinnacle Studio 11 to record and DVD Author Pro to edit them. I then used ...
