Uğur Polat (born 1 January 1961 in Istanbul) is a Turkish actor.
He was a theatre student at the Istanbul University national conservatory. He later joined the Ankara Art Theatre (Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu). His first film was "Sis" in 1988 in which he played the role of Erol.
Meltem Cumbul (born November 5, 1970 in İzmir, Turkey) is a Turkish actress and TV personality.
At 21, Meltem graduated from university with a major in drama. She then worked as an actress for the Shakespeare Company in London. Taking on a career in television, she hosted the reality program Aşağı Yukarı (Turkish version of Goodson-Todman's Card Sharks) and the game show Nereden Başlasak. During this time, Meltem also played a number of supporting roles in movies, most notably Bay E and Böcek. In 1996, she starred in a Sahte Dünyalar, a popular soap opera. She released a single, which was named Seninleyim, which is the Turkish version of Where Are You? by Imaani, in 1998.
Meltem was given her own show The Meltem Cumbul Show, a year later. She did leading parts in the movies Karışık Pizza, Geboren in Absurdistan and the musical Anlat Şehrazat Anlat. Meltem acted in the popular TV series Biz size aşık olduk, Beşik Kertmesi and Gurbet Kadını. Most importantly, she starred in the extremely popular Yılan Hikayesi, which is to date the highest rated program ever in the history of Turkish television.

She was born in Kilis, a town in the Gaziantep district of Turkey, in 1963. She moved to Bursa in her early childhood along with her family. She completed her secondary and high school education in Bursa. She was elected Miss Turkey in 1981 and represented Turkey at the Miss World beauty pageant in the same year. Having worked as a model for a short while, she started her acting career with the TV series "Küçük Ağa" in 1983.

He was born in 1953 in Şanlıurfa, Turkey. He married Muhterem Nur in 1983.
He mostly sings Turkish folk and Ottoman classical music, with an arabesque style. His talent and his special style have put him to a different place among other folk singers. In his songs he mostly expresses sorrow and painful feelings. He is considered a cult figure in Turkish folk music and has a very dedicated group of fans, most of whom being young, low-income urban people. He is mostly called Müslüm Baba (means 'Papa Müslüm' in Turkish) among them.
