Many people know about Korea's most popular food, Kimchi. But did you know that most Koreans have their own refrigerator for their kimchi? In a comical and enlightening talk, Myungdae Cho shows us how his collaboration with people from all different disciplines working on Linked Data has helped Korea better understand its staple food. As the director of the Linked Data center at the Advanced Institutes of Convergence Technology, Myungdae Cho not only links data, but he also links people to each other showing how true convergence can happen. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
