Co-sleeping is a practice in which babies and young children sleep close to one or both parents, as opposed to in a separate room. It is standard practice in many parts of the world, and is practiced by a significant minority in countries where cribs are also used. Bed-sharing, a practice in which babies and young children sleep in the same bed with one or both parents, is a subset of co-sleeping. Co-bedding refers to infants (typically twins or higher-order multiples) sharing the same bed. There are conflicting views on bed-sharing safety and health compared to using a separate infant bed. The conflicts surrounding infant sleep are exacerbated by the misuse of the term co-sleeping interchangeably with bed-sharing.^{[citation needed]}

The American Academy of Pediatrics does encourage room-sharing (sleeping in the same room but on separate surfaces) in its policy statement regarding SIDS prevention, but it recommends against bed-sharing with infants. Bed-sharing can lead to accidental suffocation of the infant in a number of ways.

Mayim Hoya Bialik, Ph.D. (/ˈmaɪəm biˈɑːlɨk/; born December 12, 1975) is an American actress famous for her TV roles as Blossom Russo on NBC's Blossom and as Amy Farrah Fowler on CBS's The Big Bang Theory.

Bialik was born in San Diego, California, the daughter of Barry Bialik and Beverly Winkelman. Her grandparents emigrated from Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary in the late 1930s. Bialik was raised in Reform Judaism. Her given name means "water" in Hebrew.

Bialik started her career as a child actress in the late 1980s. Her early roles included the horror film Pumpkinhead (1988), her first acting job, and guest appearances on The Facts of Life and Beauty and the Beast. She appeared in three episodes of MacGyver as Lisa Woodman. She appeared in Beaches (1988), playing Bette Midler's character as a young girl. She also appeared in the video for the song "Liberian Girl" by Michael Jackson.

In 1990, Bialik was tied to two television pilots, Fox's Molloy and NBC's Blossom. Molloy at first produced six episodes for a tryout run, followed by the shooting of the pilot special for Blossom. The latter actually aired two weeks before Bialik's Fox series and ultimately garnered higher ratings than it. When Molloy folded after its six episodes, Blossom was pursued as a regular series, airing until 1995.

Jay Paul Gordon (born January 30, 1967) is a producer, journalist and lead singer of rock alternative band Orgy

Originally from the Excelsior District of San Francisco, California, Gordon is the vocalist in the synth-industrial band Orgy, which rose to prominence through their signing to Korn's fledgling label, Elementree Records, their appearance on the first Family Values Tour, as well as mainstream reaction to their cover of New Order's signature song, Blue Monday. His enigmatic, glam-styled appearance and energetic stage presence have been major factors contributing to his popularity, turning him into a pop music pinup of sorts.

He previously worked as a musician with the bands Lit and Deadsy, and had collaborated with a few other popular rock musicians on a project called The Wondergirls. He has collaborated with several musicians during his musical career such as Jonathan Davis of Korn and the bands Crazy Town, Coal Chamber, and Linkin Park. Gordon has also worked extensively with Coal Chamber as the producer of their first self-titled album. Gordon and Coal Chamber's Meegs used to share an apartment before their respective bands grew in popularity. He is also the producer for the bands Hello Machine and Eye Candy, and is one of the vocalists in the band Trick Factory. All three bands are based out of Los Angeles.
