Ryan Riddle

Ryan Riddle (born July 5, 1981) is a former professional American, Canadian and Arena football defensive end. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders as a linebacker in the sixth round, with the 38th pick (212th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at University of California, Berkeley.

Riddle has also been a member of the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Avengers and Calgary Stampeders.

Early years

Ryan Riddle attended Culver City High School in Culver City, California, California. As a junior, he was Culver City's Most Improved Player, an All-Area second team honoree, and led the Bay League with 17 sacks. As a senior, he was the team Most Valuable Player, and an All-Bay League first team honoree and he finished his senior season with seven sacks, three blocked field goals, and 125 tackles. Ryan Riddle graduated from Culver City High School in 2000. He decided to go on to El Camino College after turning down a scholarship opportunities from several colleges. Ended up as El Camino's team MVP his sophomore year on his way to receiving a scholarship from the University of California.

Riddle

A riddle is a statement or question or phrase having a double or veiled meaning, put forth as a puzzle to be solved. Riddles are of two types: enigmas, which are problems generally expressed in metaphorical or allegorical language that require ingenuity and careful thinking for their solution, and conundra, which are questions relying for their effects on punning in either the question or the answer.

Archer Taylor says that "we can probably say that riddling is a universal art" and cites riddles from hundreds of different cultures including Finnish, Hungarian, American Indian, Chinese, Russian, Dutch and Filipino sources amongst many others. Definitions

Defining riddles precisely is hard and has attracted a fair amount of scholarly debate. One definition famous in Anglophone scholarship is that of Alan Dundes and Robert A. Georges: 'a riddle is a traditional verbal expression which contains one or more descriptive elements, a pair of which may be in opposition; the referent of the elements is to be guessed'. In some traditions and contexts, riddles may overlap with proverbs. Thus 'Nothing hurts it, but it groans all the time' can be deployed as a proverb (when its referent is a hypocrite) or as a riddle (when its referent is a pig).

Kion Wilson

Kion Wilson (born October 24, 1986) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He attended the University of South Florida, as a member of the 2010 graduating class. Shortly after the draft ended, Wilson joined the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and attended William M. Raines High School before playing weak side linebacker at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS. He has received multiple honors for his football career, including 2008 Rookie of the Year and 2009 CollegeFootballPerformance.com co-National Linebacker of the Week versus WVU.

Wilson attended William M. Raines High School located in Jacksonville, Florida where he was rated as a four-star recruit by Scout.com and a three-star recruit by Rivals.com

Collegiate career

Wilson played weak side linebacker at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS. There he recorded 117 tackles, 2 interceptions and 6 sacks as a freshman. During nine games as a sophomore he recorded 98 tackles, 7 tackles for loss and one sack.

Randy McMichael

Randy Montez McMichael (born June 28, 1979) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia.

Early years

McMichael was named to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Top 50 in the state of Georgia at Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Georgia. He was voted the team’s best offensive lineman as a senior, and also lettered in basketball and track during his prep career.

College career

McMichael was a three-year letterman at Georgia from 1999 to 2001. He missed all but one game in 1997 with a thumb injury, and missed all of 1998 with a knee injury.

In 1999, he caught 34 passes for 357 yards and three touchdowns, earning First-team Freshman All-America honors from The Sporting News and SEC coaches. As a sophomore in 2000, McMichael hauled in 32 passes for 475 yards and a score, earning an honorable mention All-conference selection. He was a First-team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press and SEC coaches in his final year of 2001 when he started nine of the ten games in which he appeared and had 24 receptions for 281 yards and a touchdown.
