In a video posted online, the Islamist militant group also threatened more attacks on next month's Winter Olympics in Sochi. In a warning to Vladimir Putin, a man says in Russian that he has prepared a present for the Russian president, claiming that it is also a present for any tourists that visit during the Olympics. He goes on to say the present will be a revenge attack for Muslim blood shed in countries like Afghanistan, Somalia and Syria. The video says two men called Suleiman and Abdurakhman carried out the Volgograd attacks on behalf of a group known as Vilayat Dagestan, linked to an Iraqi faction called Ansar al-Sunna. Putin has staked much personal and political prestige on the Games, which are intended to show how far Russia has come since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Report by Mark Morris.
