Guttman X 5
Hebrew with English Subtitles
New Israeli film composed of five different episodes inspired by the life story and films of the director Amos Guttman. Out of dozens of submissions five projects were selected. The connections between the episodes were done by the animator Mysh. "Gutman Times 5″ is a unique film project produced by the TLVFest and supported by The Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts.
The different plots in the project are ranging in genres and different cinematic styles. Yoav Inbar takes us to the beginning of the 80th and tells the story of a kind boy from Haifa who decides to make the journy from Haifa to the gay garden in Tel Aviv. Yoav Brill tries, in an animated film, to follow after one of the most intimate and public practices -- two guys holding hands. Ronny Almog and Emil Ray in a movie about a middle-aged film director who speaks with young director from "Drifted" (1983) and wonders what has changed for the LGBT people in the past thirty years. Stephanie Abramovich introduces us to Kati Gutman -- it's been twenty years since her only son Amos died of AIDS. Today, for the first time, she dares to open past wounds. Sivan Levy brings a video clip about a prostitute, two drug addicts and sexually exploited young man, who are successful in escaping their bitter fate for some moments of grace in the bar which serves as a place of refuge.

An old man is dying. His carer Noel sits quietly by his side. Dina, the man’s granddaughter, appears in an animal costume. She raids the fridge and then goes off to have fun with her friends. When she returns late at night, her grandfather is dead. Dina and Noel lovingly stroke the man’s hands, comb his hair, smoke a cigarette, share a laugh and then go out into the night time city. Loud electronic music awaits them in a club. As the sun rises they leap into the sea’s clear, cleansing waters. Their night of farewell is also a new beginning. Dina and Noel unconventional cinematic means to portray the attitude to life among young Israelis.

Sivan Levy
Sivan Levy (Hebrew: סִיוָן לֵּוִי) is an Israeli singer-songwriter, filmmaker, and actress.
Early life
Levy studied music at the Alon School of Arts, graduating at 2007. Upon her graduation, Levy started her military service as a singer for the IDF Musical Ensemble.
Career
In 2009, upon completing her service, Sivan launched her film career while performing her first role in the film Burning Mooki, directed by Lena and Slava Chaplin. In 2011, she played the main role in Veronika Kedar’s feature film Joe and Belle, as well as a role in Invisible, directed by Michal Aviad and starring Ronit Elkabetz. Sivan starred in the film 6 acts, directed by Jonathan Gurfinkel, and received for it the award of the best actress for 2012 - Haifa International festival, The Israeli Academy Award for Best leading Actress 2013 and the Israeli critic award for 2013. Her upcoming work includes a French speaking role Ava in the feature film Inch’Allah, a Canadian-French film, directed by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette.

Sharon Cohen (Hebrew: שרון כהן), professionally known as Dana International (דנה אינטרנשיונל) and born Yaron Cohen (ירון כהן), is an Israeli pop singer of Yemenite Jewish ancestry. She has released eight albums and three additional compilation albums, positioning herself as one of Israel's most successful musical acts ever. She is best known as the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 in Birmingham with the song "Diva".
Assigned male at birth, Sharon discovered that she was transgender at an early age, and came out as a trans woman when she was 13. She underwent sex reassignment surgery in 1993 and in that year released her first album, Danna International, basing her subsequent stage name on it. After consolidating her initial commercial success with the albums Umpatampa (1994) and Maganuna (1996), she was selected in 1998 to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Diva". Placing first at the international competition, she came to public attention throughout Europe.

Out of dozens of submissions five projects were selected. The connections between the episodes were done by the animator Mysh. "Gutman Times 5″ is a unique film project produced by the TLVFest and supported by The Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts. The different plots in the project are ranging in genres and different cinematic styles. Yoav Inbar takes us to the beginning of the 80th and tells the story of a kind boy from Haifa who decides to make the journy from Haifa to the gay garden in Tel Aviv. Yoav Brill tries, in an animated film, to follow after one of the most intimate and public practices -- two guys holding hands. Ronny Almog and Emil Ray in a movie about a middle-aged film director who speaks with young director from "Drifted" (1983) and wonders what has changed for the LGBT people in the past thirty years. Stephanie Abramovich introduces us to Kati Gutman -- it's been twenty years since her only son Amos died of AIDS. Today, for the first time, she dares to open past wounds. Sivan Levy brings a video clip about a prostitute, two drug addicts and sexually exploited young man, who are successful in escaping their bitter fate for some moments of grace in the bar which serves as a place of refuge.

An old man is dying. His carer Noel sits quietly by his side. Dina, the man’s granddaughter, appears in an animal costume. She raids the fridge and then goes off to have fun with her friends. When she returns late at night, her grandfather is dead. Dina and Noel lovingly stroke the man’s hands, comb his hair, smoke a cigarette, share a laugh and then go out into the night time city. Loud electronic music awaits them in a club. As the sun rises they leap into the sea’s clear, cleansing waters. Their night of farewell is also a new beginning. Dina and Noel unconventional cinematic means to portray the attitude to life among young Israelis.

An old man is dying. His carer Noel sits quietly by his side. Dina, the man’s granddaughter, appears in an animal costume. She raids the fridge and then goes off to have fun with her friends. When she returns late at night, her grandfather is dead. Dina and Noel lovingly stroke the man’s hands, comb his hair, smoke a cigarette, share a laugh and then go out into the night time city. Loud electronic music awaits them in a club. As the sun rises they leap into the sea’s clear, cleansing waters. Their night of farewell is also a new beginning. Dina and Noel unconventional cinematic means to portray the attitude to life among young Israelis.
