Albert Garza Bustamante (born April 8, 1935) is a former member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas. A Democrat, he was a prominent Hispanic member of the House.
Bustamante was born and raised in Asherton, Texas, to a family of Mexican migrant workers. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving for two years as a paratrooper. In 1958, he enrolled in San Antonio College, earning an associate's degree. Bustamante then went on to major in education at Sul Ross State College. After earning his degree, he was hired as a teacher at San Antonio's Cooper Jr. High School.
In 1968, Bustamante took a job as an aide to Congressman Henry Gonzalez. In his first run for elective office in 1972, Bustamante was elected as a Bexar County, Texas, Commissioner. He then was elected as a county judge in 1978 and served on the state's Jail Standard Commission.
Bustamante burst into the national spotlight in 1984, when he was elected to Congress, surprising nine-term incumbent Chick Kazen in the Democratic primary for the 23rd District. He was unopposed in November, and was reelected three times. While in Congress, he served on the Armed Services Committee and helped to keep open several Texan military bases. He served on the Procurement and Military Nuclear Systems Subcommittee, the Subcommittee on Energy, and the Natural Resources Subcommittee. In 1987 and 1988 he supported nuclear test ban amendments, and he voiced concern for environmental and safety problems in the nation's nuclear production plants. He played an important role in delaying funding for a Special Isotope Separation project in Idaho.
Andrés Bustamante is a Mexican comedian who works at TV Azteca and dubbed the voice of Mike Wazowski in the film Monsters, Inc.
He has worked with TV Azteca (previously State-owned Imevision). His work include children's show "Los Cuentos del Espejo", and multi-character sketch format shows "Entre Amigos", "Sin Tornillos" and "El Güiri Güiri".
He has authored two books: ¿Y yo por que? (Why me?) and ¿Por que yo no? (Why not me).

Pilar Sánchez Luque (born September 27, 1978 in Coria del Río, Seville), better known by her stage name Pastora Soler, is a Spanish singer. She is also a songwriter and her compositions usually mix copla or flamenco with or pop or electronic music.
Soler represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the song "Quédate conmigo" and came in 10th place.
A precocious chanteuse, she started singing coplas and flamenco songs at several events when she was a child. In 1994 she was signed to the record company Polygram to release her first studio album, Nuestras coplas, which consisted of covers of ten classical copla songs by León or Quiroga. Pop and commercial sounds arrived in 1996 with her second album, El mundo que soné, which was the last she published with Polygram.
In 1999 she was signed to Emi-Odeón and released her third album, Fuente de luna. This album included her first big hit single, "Dámelo ya", which sold 120,000 copies in Spain and was also a number one hit in Turkey.
Arnold Clavio (born November 2, 1965) is a popular radio and television newscaster, journalist, and a TV host in the Philippines. He currently co-anchors GMA Network's late-night newscast, Saksi with Vicky Morales and hosts a morning radio show, One on One with Igan on DZBB.
In his elementary and high school days, he has been an active member of the editorial staff of his school's organ. In college, he took up Journalism in the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters or UST-AB.
Right after graduation, he worked as a news writer at DWIZ, and after a year transferred as a radio field reporter to GMA Network's flagship radio station, DZBB.
In 1994, he was offered a reporter's slot in Brigada Siete, joining the late Louie Beltran and Jessica Soho, this was Igan's very 1st TV show on GMA.
He was given the top prize by the Department of Health in their Philippine AIDS-STD Media Awards for his report on Sarah Jane Salazar in 1995. The Asian Broadcasting Union also awarded his Abu Sayyaf coverage for DZBB as the Best Reportage of a Crisis in the same year. In 1999, his radio program Dobol A sa Dobol B was named Best Public Affairs Program on Radio by the KBP Golden Dove Awards.
David Bustamante Hoyos (born 25 March 1982 in San Vicente de la Barquera, Cantabria) is a Spanish singer.
Bustamante's breakthrough was in the TV hit Operación Triunfo. This show broke ratings records as well as dominated the top position of the CD sales charts during its 5 month run. When the program ended in February 2002, David Bustamante was one of the three finalists.
Since then, Bustamante has released seven solo albums. His first CD, Bustamante, was released in May 2002 and spent many months among the top selling CDs in Spain. He followed this with a successful summer tour with over 70 concerts throughout Spain. His second album, Asi soy yo, was released in November 2003 and was produced by music industry great Emilio Estefan. Bustamante continued with Caricias al alma and Pentimento. Furthermore, he visited Latin America to promote his music.
David Bustamante has had big success in Spain and Latin America. He has sold over 1,700,000 units. His new albums Al filo de la irrealidad and A contracorriente went platinum at the top of the Spanish charts, and they were released by Universal music. In 2011 the singer has released his new album Mio with the production of Christian Leuzzi (Celine Dion's producer) and Mauri Stern. The album has become another success and is certificated Platinum.
