7/29/2013 - Muslim scholar Reza Aslan joined Piers Morgan tonight to react to his Fox News online interview that went viral over the weekend. Aslan said he had an idea of what was coming, but remarked that he was "kind of embarrassed" as he sat there listening to questions about why a Muslim would have any standing to write a book about Jesus. Aslan said he normally finds it "distasteful" for academics to talk at length about their biographies, but found it necessary to patiently repeat to Lauren Green call into question his background and his faith when questioning him about his book Zealot, focusing on the life of Jesus Christ. He talked to Morgan about why he wrote the book and his personal religious journey, admitting that he feels bad for Green, since he understood where she was coming from. He assured that he has nothing against Christianity, and considers "Jesus the man" to be a fascinating character. Morgan concluded the interview by teling Aslan he "should thank Fox News" for really giving a boost to his book sales. Watch the video below, via CNN:

BUY THE DVD AT: http://infowars-shop.stores.yahoo.net/reandwainwia.html In an historic final interview, filmmaker and music promoter Aaron Russo goes in depth on the insider-knowledge given to him by a member of the Rockefeller family. Russo was told-- prior to 9/11-- of plans to stage terror attacks, invade foreign nations, and kickstart a high-tech police state control grid that would track the populations' every move with implantable RFID microchips. This information-packed presentation is filled with never-before seen footage. Throughout the film, Alex Jones breaks down the latest activities of the New World Order and how it ties into what Russo predicted. Aaron explains how the elite created the women's liberation movement to break up the family and tax working women. Russo breaks down the deception of democracy-- which is nothing more than mob rule guaranteed to produce tyranny. Russo also exposes the IRS & Federal Reserve. He blasts the unconstitutional and predatory institutions that have crippled the American Republic and crushed the people with bogus taxes, inflation and loss of privacy. Russo explains that he himself was persecuted in the late 80s by a criminal 'retroactive' tax scheme that attempted to levy new taxes on years already passed. As night falls on the Republic, Aaron Russo delivers a powerful call for the forces of liberty to rise and crush tyranny. Only then can the Republic be restored. THIS DVD INCLUDES: - Never-before seen behind the scenes footage - An exclusive interview with Aaron about his life - Aaron Russo radio interviews from the Alex Jones Show
Croatia on the Way to an European Civil Procedure Law; Hrvaška na poti k evropskemu civilnemu procesnemu pravu.
In the wake of terror attacks in Paris, Brussels and Copenhagen it seems that fundamental rights can often only be exercised in Europe under police protection. Is the cancellation of public events in the wake of terror tip-offs and the exodus of Jewish citizens who feel threatened a sign that Europe is losing the battle? And is the peaceful co-existence of different cultures and faiths under threat? Guests: Alan Posener, freelance author and journalist Antje Bauer, reporter specializing in the Middle East, Turkey and Afghanistan Judy Dempsey, Senior Associate at Carnegie Europe and editor-in-chief of Strategic Europe. Seeing Like a Political Scientist The lecture will examine some of the dilemmas that face social scientists in general, and political scientists in particular. The division of labour between the social sciences is relatively new and not set in stone. It is challenged both by changes in the governance of higher education and science and by developments within the social sciences themselves. With respect to the former, there is increasing demand from governments, external stakeholders and end users for demonstrable ‘impact.’ Here, the self-reproducing nature of disciplines and the internal organisation of universities are frequently seen as barriers, to rather than facilitators of, innovation. For example, in a recent survey of Whitehall (UK government) civil servants in which they were asked which academic disciplines they found most useful public policy came out on top. Yet public policy is not a discipline as traditionally understood, but rather an inter-disciplinary area of study weakly institutionalised within universities. With respect to internal (academic) developments, the inherited division of labour within the social sciences is being challenged by the growing influence of, for example, neo-institutionalism, which cuts right across economics, political science and sociology. Swimming against these currents is that fact that the social sciences are becoming increasingly specialised and professionalised. These developments create a tension and dilemma: how can we position ourselves in the face of these contradictory demands? Is a new constellation emerging or are the social sciences set to return to an older, pre-disciplinary state; something like the German tradition of Staatslehre? These are questions facing not just the disciplines themselves, but also those entering them and who will carry them on through the next phase. http://www.ecpr.eu

York Press 2013-03-12Alan Civil OBE (13 June 1929 – 19 March 1989) was a British horn player.
Civil began to play the horn at a young age, and joined an army band while still in his teens. He studied the instrument under Aubrey Brain, father of Dennis Brain.
Civil was engaged by Thomas Beecham to play second horn to Dennis Brain in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and when Brain left for the Philharmonia, Civil took over leadership of the section. In 1955, Civil joined the Philharmonia himself, becoming principal horn player when Brain died in a car crash in 1957.
In the 1960s, Civil became the first non-German to be approached by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra to become a member.[citation needed] Civil stuck with the Philharmonia however, who were reshaping themselves into the New Philharmonia. In 1966 he became principal hornist of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, remaining there until his retirement in 1988.
As a soloist, Civil recorded the horn concertos of Mozart, and his recording of Benjamin Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with Robert Tear is also quite well known. He also played chamber music in the Alan Civil Horn Trio.
Alan Mark Grayson (born March 13, 1958) is a former U.S. Representative for Florida's 8th congressional district, serving from 2009 until 2011. He is a member of the Democratic Party. The district Grayson represented lies in central Florida and includes portions of Orange Lake, Marion, and Osceola Counties. Most of Orlando is in the district, including Walt Disney World. Grayson was defeated for re-election in 2010 by Republican Daniel Webster.
Grayson was born in the Bronx, New York City, New York, United States, to a Jewish family, the son of Dorothy Ann (née Sabin) and Daniel Franklin Grayson. He graduated from Bronx High School of Science in 1975 and worked his way through Harvard College as a janitor and nightwatchman, graduating in 1978 in the top two percent of his class, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an A.B. in economics. After working two years as an economist, he returned to Harvard for graduate studies. In 1983, he earned a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and a Masters of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Additionally, he completed the course work and passed the general exams for a PhD in government.
