Accused bikies leave separately after Gold Coast court hearing

A group of Victorian men accused of being part of a criminal motorcycle gang has appeared in a court on Queensland's Gold Coast.
Kresimir Basic, Keith Darren Haley and Daniel Morgan Lovett sat separately in the Southport Magistrates Court and laughed as their names were read out during a mention today.
They were arrested last month at a Surfers Paradise Hotel, along with Bane Alajbegovic and Dario Halilovic.
The five men, aged between 23 and 33, are accused of having links with the Hells Angels or Comancheros, and of being knowingly present in a public place, which was made a crime in Queensland late last year.
All five have been granted bail in the Supreme Court.
Basic, Haley and Lovett left the Southport court separately after today's appearance, and caught separate cabs to the Gold Coast airport.
They were due to fly back to Victoria this afternoon.
All five men deny they are involved with motorcycle gangs.
They will not be required to appear when the case returns to court in April.
