This little wood stove was made from an old propane tank. The tools you'll need to build something like this are of course an old propane tank, a metal grinder, some way to cut the steel (we used an air compressor and cutoff blade), a sheet of steel for the top plate and a welder. Whenever you're using anything with fire, extreme caution must be used. If you decide to build and use something like this, do it at your own risk. Plot

Plot
Dr. Henry Harriston is a successful psychoanalyst in New York City. When he is near a nervous breakdown, he arranges to change his flat with Beatrice Saulnier from France for a while. Both don't know each other and both find themselves deeply involved into the social settings of the other, because the decision to change their flats is made overnight. Could be the perfect amusement, but suddenly Henry finds himself beaten up by Beatrice' lover and Beatrice is considered to be Dr. Harriston's substitute by his clients.

Plot
This drama is set in World War II Australia, where an American Marine, Rebel is recuperating from wounds suffered in battle. He is weary of war and is intent on going AWOL and escaping from Australia. He becomes infatuated with a local singer, Kathy and pursues her. Kathy is married and initially is not interested in him, but later begins to love Rebel. Kathy receives a letter advising her that her husband was killed in battle. The local police and the U.S. Military are searching for Rebel as an AWOL soldier. Rebel arranges to escape Austalia by a cargo ship, but eventually allows himself to be arrested in order to keep the local police from arresting Kathy for harboring him.

Plot

Plot
Among those who are fighting to have Congress re-establish the military academy at West Point in the beginning of the nineteenth century is a young Washington socialite, Carolyn Bainbridge. Congress resolves to revive the Academy on a one-year trial basis. Major Sam Carter, a martinet who doesn't believe a college can produce real fighting men, is made the Commandant, and determines to make soldiers - or failures - out of the small band of cadets, by enforcing stringent disciplinary action. Among the cadets are Howard Shelton, Carolyn's fiancée, and Dawson, a Kentucky frontiersman. There is bad blood between the two from the start, and matters are worsened when Dawson falls in love with Carolyn. Many of the cadets resign, under the discouraging conditions and grueling punishment that is part of Carter's plan to make the school hard and the exercises difficult, and the number of cadets left is down to ten. Word arrives that the Indian chief Tecumseh has gone on the warpath, and Carter is ordered to take part in quelling the rebellion, and to include the cadets along with the regular Bombadiers. Shelton, on patrol, is shot at by an Indian, and hot-headedly leaves his post in pursuit. Dawson leaves to bring him back followed by Major Carter who is captured by the Indians. Using tactics learned at West Point, the small band of cadets attack and demoralize the much larger Indian force, and succeed in rescuing Carter, and Dawson is wounded. Carter is grateful for the actions taken by the band, but says that Shelton and Dawson cannot remain as cadets since they had violated the rules by leaving their posts, and would be a bad precedent for future cadets. Carolyn has come to the Point to marry the unsuspecting Dawson, who thought she loved Shelton.

Tiny Wood Stove Made From A Propane Tank

This little wood stove was made from an old propane tank. The tools you'll need to build something like this are of course an old propane tank, a metal grinder, some way to cut the steel (we used an air compressor and cutoff blade), a sheet of steel for the top plate and a welder. Whenever you're using anything with fire, extreme caution must be used. If you decide to build and use something like this, do it at your own risk. Once the fabrication is complete, paint it with a couple coats of high temperature paint. Thanks for watching! A hand-made wooden clock is one of those projects I like to marvel at. I'm not sure I have enough patience to cut out one wooden gear let alone the multitude required to construct a fully-functional clock! Thankfully, my buddy Rick Urschel is not nearly as impatient as I am. Several years ago, he began dipping his toes into the clock-building world and filmed one of his early efforts at making his version of the Simplicity Clock designed by Clayton Boyer: http://www.lisaboyer.com/Claytonsite/simplicitypage1.htm
While the clock itself is quick complicated, the plans provided by Clayton Boyer seem to make the process approachable. And as you'll see, you don't need a lot in the way of tooling to get the job done. A simple scrollsaw does all of the cutting!

What's up Nerdgasm fans! Today I'm doing something brand new I've never done before. I am using my Robo 3D printer to actually print something in Wood. I didn't even think this was possible a few weeks ago but someone genius figured out how to make wood Filament by mixing wood and PLA and the results are fantastic. It looks like wood, smells like wood, feels like wood but does not taste like wood! :P

I hope you guys enjoy this video where I print a round box with sliding top that can be used to store memory card or pills, etc in 100% wood. The results are amazing and it even looks like it was carved out of plywood. I am going to attempt to stain it when I have some time since the wood does appear to be porous just like real wood and seem to absorb moisture. I'm really impressed with this material and I'm looking forward to using it in many future prints!

Wood is a hard, fibrous tissue found in many trees. It has been used for hundreds of thousands of years for both fuel and as a construction material. It is an organic material, a natural composite of cellulose fibers (which are strong in tension) embedded in a matrix of lignin which resists compression. Wood is sometimes defined as only the secondary xylem in the stems of trees, or it is defined more broadly to include the same type of tissue elsewhere such as in tree roots or in other plants such as shrubs.[citation needed] In a living tree it performs a support function, enabling woody plants to grow large or to stand up for themselves. It also mediates the transfer of water and nutrients to the leaves and other growing tissues. Wood may also refer to other plant materials with comparable properties, and to material engineered from wood, or wood chips or fiber.
The earth contains about one trillion tonnes of wood, which grows at a rate of 10 billion tonnes per year. As an abundant, carbon-neutral renewable resource, woody materials have been of intense interest as a source of renewable energy. In 1991, approximately 3.5 billion cubic meters of wood were harvested. Dominant uses were for furniture and building construction.
