For his Spring/Summer 2014 collection the models stuck to a largely monochrome palette, with occasional appearances of stone-grey. Oversized boxy T-shirts were softened by rounded collars on shirts and jackets, and his typical sportswear influences were this time-hardened by ribbed padding on knees and elbows. Wang opted to present a soft grey jacket and a classic khaki trench that were done up at the chest, hung open at the midriff, and sported radically rolled-up sleeves. There were boxer shorts and similarly undone shirts split then remixed at the back, while grey suiting fabrics were ripped up and turned into miniskirts. Alexander Wang demonstracted his supremacy when it comes to 'sports luxe' , but this season gave a nod to menswear.
