Italian President Giorgio Napolitano arrives for a meeting with German President Joachim Gauck at Bellevue Palace in Berlin, Germany, Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. Napolitano is visiting Germany and was due to meet with Social Democratic chancellor candidate Peer Steinbrueck, but Steinbrueck spokesman Michael Donnermeyer said Napolitano called off the meeting because of the "clown" comments of Merkel's challenger.
