SUBSCRIBE! Thanks. Hi, CORVAIRWILD here. A little about me and what I do: First, I love my wife of many years, she is a wonderful lady. I call her Mrs CW. I can never go anywhere without her & my Dog Muggs! He's cool. You should have a dog like him too. Next, I am a landlord, NO, not a slumlord who does section 8 apartment rentals, but I keep my properties up like they were my own...they are my own! Like I live there. I have lots of apartment buildings, a farm out in the country and a house here and there. I am always doing something, driving rehabbing, you name it! I want to include you, so I bring my camera! EVERYWHERE! Haha. ENJOY. Did I mention I am a car enthusiast! I can't get enough Covairs and Vintage Chevy and GMC trucks. They have great reliability...all of em' the best vehicle on the road ever is a Corvair Spider Turbo. Back to the trucks, I love the diesel trucks and suburbans, Blazers too. That's what I plow snow with. A fisher snow plow. I'm a busy guy, but I make time for you. Thanks! CW

Quartzite Falls-Baraga County
Quartzite Falls is located east of L'Anse Michigan in the upper Peninsula and it is one of seven waterfalls on the Slate River. I had arrived first thing in the morning with the sun just peering over the horizon. The morning was going to start with a lot of bright sun and I had to shoot completely on on side of the waterfalls as the sun was burning through the trees. When the water level is high it is a local favorite for Kayaking. Black Slate Falls is upstream about 200 yards.

Quartzsite PD Hoax, Quartzite, AZ
Here is more filming from a movie studio company using actors to platy roles. they have their scripts in their hands. This town has become a ghosttown over the years and is now being used as a psy-op operation on you tube and local az news. Main stream media knows its bullshit and wont touch it.

Crossing into Arizona, Blythe, Quartzite, Wenden, riding cross country on a bicycle
I hung out at Starbucks in the town of Blythe and a guy saw me and my bike and asked my story. He was so impressed that bought me a coffee and pastry. MICE ! I took HWY 74 north of Phoenix all the way past I-17 (about 10 miles further east) to Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale Rd goes south all the way thru Phoenix to Mesa, where I turned onto Baseline Rd, which heads east for about 15 miles. (all types of supermarkets, bikestores, bakeries, etc are on Baseline Rd) I went all the way to where Baseline Rd ends and makes a left on Goldfield Rd. This is about 1 mile south of the exit on HWY60 where bicycles are allowed to travel. There is a great bike store, fast food, Albertson's in a shopping plaza just east of the junction of I-17 and Hwy74. During the ride on this stretch, there are plenty of places to get grocery's. food and water. I stayed at Motel 6 on Scottsdale RD, about 2-3 miles north of Hwy 60. (cost=$35 for a single)

Quartzite
Finally got to cliff launch the hometown mountain after all of these years. My brother Dan flew his paraglider from a newly "constructed" launch near the cliffs. I was on a 14 meter Ozone Bullet 09 speedglider. Lots of rotor/thermal cycles coming across and up the cliffs, making launching difficult. Super fun to finally do it.

Devil's Lake State Park, Quartzite Campground Sites 1-67
Landscape architect, John Nolen, recommended in 1909 that this site be set aside for a park. Established in 1911, this 9000+ acre park near Baraboo, WI draws over 1.2 million visitors a year. The 360 acre lake is spring fed giving fishermen, paddlers and swimmers a crystal clear water environment. The lake was formed by glacial activity during the last ice age. What was once the Wisconsin River is now a dramatic gorge cut off at the north and south ends by glacial debris. The quartzite rock formations of the park are over 1.5 billion years old and rise over 500 feet above the lake. This "grand canyon of the midwest" takes its name from a mistranslation of the Ho-Chunk "Ta Wa-cun-chuk-dah, meaning "Sacred Lake", "Holy Lake" or "Spirit Lake". According to Ho-Chunk mythology the lake was the birthplace of the Buffalo Clan and is the site of the legendary battle between the water spirits and the thunderbirds. A number of effigy mounds are located throughout the park. This video includes the Quartzite Campground Sites 1-67. Music copyright 2008 by Maury Smith.
