Avraham "Bren" Adan (Hebrew: אברהם "ברן" אדן‎, born October 1926) is a former Israeli general who served in the military between 1947 and 1973.

Adan was born in Kfar Gileadi, British Mandate Palestine in 1926. He joined the Palmach in 1943. During the 1948 Arab-Israeli War he was a company commander in the 8th Battalion of the Negev Brigade and participated in Operation Uvda, in which the brigade captured the Jordanian outpost of Umm Rashrash, now known as Eilat, at the southernmost tip of the newly-created country. It was he who raised the Ink Flag claiming the territory for Israel, as depicted in the famous photograph of the event.

Adan joined the Armored Corps in 1949 and founded the first Sherman tank unit in the IDF. During the 1956 Suez War, Lieutenant Colonel Adan commanded the 82nd battalion of the 7th Armored Brigade in the Sinai, defeating several Egyptian forces in the region. After the war he became the operations officer of the corps, then the commander of the 7th Brigade and the Armored Corps School. During the June 1967 Six-Day War, Adan was the deputy commander of the Armored Corps and of the 31st Armored Division, fighting again in the Sinai. On March 10, 1969, he became the commander of the Armored Corps.

Abraham Mateo Chomorro (born 25 August 1998) is a Spanish teen actor and pop singer, who is currently signed to the record label EMI Music Spain.

Mateo was discovered in 2009, when he was ten, by executives of EMI Music Spain, who happened across his performances in the television show Menuda Noche on the Canal Sur TV of Andalucia, Spain. His self-titled debut album, Abraham Mateo, was released in Spain in December 2009. The album was produced by the Spanish composer and producer Jacobo Calderon, who has worked before with internationally recognized Latin singers such as Raphael, David Bisbal, and Luis Fonsi. Mateo is currently working on his second studio album, which is expected to be released sometime in 2012.

Abraham Mateo was born to Antonio Mateo and Susana Chamorro. He has an older brother, Tony, who also plays music. Abraham was born into a family with musical roots. His grandpa has been active as tenor soloist with a church choir for over 50 years while his mother sings Boleros and Spanish music. When Mateo was three years old, he watched the TV talent show Operación Triunfo, the Spanish version of American Idol, and right after the show he started to sing the songs performed by his idol David Bustamante, David Bisbal, and other contestants. Mateo's first vocal coach was his mother Susana, who taught Abraham vibrato and always tried to present him with music that matched his vocal range. He started playing flute at age six, piano and keyboard at age eight, and acoustic guitar at age ten, teaching himself how to play by ear.

Ramon Ayala is a bajo sexto player from Donna, Texas, who currently resides in the Rio Grande Valley. He is the son of Pedro Ayala. His progressive style and technique has earned him the 2009 Bajo Sexto Player of the Year Award from the South Texas Conjunto Association. In 2009 he celebrated his 45th career anniversary.

Ramon Ayala started playing the accordion in 1951. Ramon Ayala learned the drums 1954. In 1955, he picked-up the bajo sexto where his father Pedro Ayala El Monarca del Acordeón showed him his first two chords. By 1956 Ramon Ayala and his brother Pedro Ayala Jr., who played accordion, joined their father in Pedro Ayala y Su Conjunto. Since 1956 Ramon Ayala has gone on to record for over a dozen studios releasing 88 recordings in album, 45, cassette, and cd formats. Ramon Ayala recorded with Freddy Fender, Paulino Bernal, Esteban Jordan among others. To date he has released 105 recordings.
