RHB Bank Berhad (also known as the Rashid Hussein Bank) is a bank based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It specializes in commercial banking, corporate and investment banking and international banking services. The bank was formed after a merger between Kwong Yik Bank and DCB Bank (Development and Commercial Bank, also formerly known as D&C Bank), on July 1, 1997, and Sime Bank and Bank Utama later. On March 9, 2007, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) gained control of the bank, after winning a bid against EON Capital and a Kuwait Finance House-led consortium.[1] RHB Bank is a part of RHB Capital Berhad financial conglomerate.

RHB Bank was the third largest bank in Malaysia, with 200 offices in Malaysia and the region (as of 2002). The bank was also named the "Best Domestic Bank" by both Finance Asia and Euromoney in 1997.

Of origin, RHB Bank (Swift Code:RHBBMYKLXXX) was commonly known as Sime Darby Bank and prior to that the United Malayan Banking Corporation, an UMNO associated bank. RHB Bank specialises in consumer banking with other entities like RHB Islamic Bank,Delta Finance to its name. RHB Bank is a commercial bank focusing on industrial and commercial lending in Singapore, despite it being a fully qualified bank.

The Bardi and Peruzzi families dominated banking in 14th century Florence, establishing branches in many other parts of Europe. Perhaps the most famous Italian bank was the Medici bank, set up by Giovanni Medici in 1397. The earliest known state deposit bank, Banco di San Giorgio (Bank of St. George), was founded in 1407 at Genoa, Italy.

Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak (born 23 July 1953) is a Malaysian politician who has been the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia since 2009. He previously held the post of Deputy Prime Minister from 7 January 2004 until he succeeded Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as Prime Minister on 3 April 2009. Najib is President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He is the son of Malaysia's second prime minister, Tun Abdul Razak and the nephew of Malaysia's third prime minister, Tun Hussein Onn. Najib is also the Minister of Finance.

Najib succeeded Abdullah at a time after his ruling coalition, the Barisan Nasional, lost its long held two-thirds majority in parliament to the opposition led by former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in the 2008 parliamentary election. Since then Najib has tried to build a moderate image for himself and the UMNO through the 1Malaysia campaign.

Born 23 July 1953, in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Najib is the eldest of Prime Minister Abdul Razak's six sons, and the nephew of Hussein Onn, Malaysia’s third Prime Minister. His younger brother, Dato' Seri Mohd Nazir Abdul Razak, runs the country's second-largest lender, Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings Bhd. Najib is also one of the Four Noblemen of the Pahang Darul Makmur (Royal Court) by virtue of his inherited title as the Orang Kaya Indera Shahbandar. He received his primary and secondary education at St. John's Institution, Kuala Lumpur. He later attended Malvern College in Worcestershire, England, and subsequently went to the University of Nottingham, where he received a bachelor's degree in industrial economics in 1974. Najib Razak returned to Malaysia in 1974 and entered the business world, serving briefly in Bank Negara (Central Bank) and later with Petronas (Malaysia's national oil company) as a public affairs manager.

Caroline Cheong is a Singaporean actress, known for making her movie debut as Victoria in the 2007 film The Tattooist.

She graduated from LaSalle-SIA, College of the Arts with a diploma in drama^{[citation needed]}. Although Caroline has embarked on many TV productions for local television, she has also acted in many independent films^{[citation needed]}. She quoted "Waking up" by Black Paper Productions as her proudest project to date. She has appeared in many magazines^{[not specific enough to verify]} and has been on the cover of Eat! and FHM magazine twice^{[citation needed]}. She was also in the top 100 sexiest women according to FHM magazine twice^{[citation needed]}. Caroline is versatile in both film and on stage^{[clarification needed]}. She started off with acting onstage in black box productions and was later discovered and signed on with Fly Entertainment where she started her TV and film career.

Caroline has also hosted events for Seventeen and Lime magazine^{[citation needed]}. Caroline is born to a Chinese father and Portuguese mother^{[citation needed]}. Born and bred in Singapore, she is now based in Hong Kong.
