Deutsche Bank AG (literally "German Bank"; pronounced [ˈdɔʏtʃə ˈbaŋk]) is a global banking and financial services company with its headquarters in the Deutsche Bank Twin Towers in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. It employs more than 100,000 people in over 70 countries, and has a large presence in Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the emerging markets. In 2009, Deutsche Bank was the largest foreign exchange dealer in the world with a market share of 21 percent.

Martin Sonneborn (born 15 May 1965 in Göttingen, Germany) is a German satirist. He was editor-in-chief of the humorist magazine Titanic from 2000 to October 2005. Since November 2006 he has worked for Spiegel Online.

He is the founder and leader of the satirical political party Die PARTEI, one of whose aims is to rebuild The Wall in Germany.

He became famous for his efforts in 2000 to bring the 2006 FIFA World Cup to Germany by offering FIFA officials a small gift for their vote in favor of Germany. He documented this episode in a book, Ich tat es für mein Land. Wie TITANIC einmal die Fußball-WM 2006 nach Deutschland holte: Protokoll einer erfolgreichen Bestechung. (ISBN 3-936261-37-7). In November 2007 he was heavily criticised by UK media for a "Find Maddie Ad" in the Titanic magazine, a satirical reference to the media coverage of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

In late 2009, he was criticized in a Chinese newspaper for "hurting the feelings of the Chinese people" in a broadcast about the 2009 Frankfurt Book Fair on ZDF's satirical late-night program "Die heute-Show".

Juergen Fitschen (born 1948 in Harsefeld, Germany)

Juergen Fitschen and Anshu Jain, both currently members of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank have been nominated by the Supervisory Board of the bank to take over as Co-CEOs of Deutsche Bank effective at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting 2012 on May 31, 2012

Mr. Fitschen studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Hamburg and graduated in 1975 with a master’s degree in Business Administration. From 1975 to 1987, he worked at Citibank in various positions in Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main. In 1983 he was appointed member of Citibank’s Executive Committee Germany.

After joining Deutsche Bank in 1987, Fitschen held executive positions in Thailand, Japan and Singapore, before becoming a member of the Global Corporates and Institutions Divisional Board in 1997, based in Frankfurt. A year later he joined the newly designed Global Corporates and Institutions division, based in London. In 2001 he was appointed to Deutsche Bank Group Board of Managing Directors where he was responsible for the Corporate and Investment divisions of the bank.
