Welcome Home Steve Mesler
Buffalos own Olympic gold medalist is back in the City of Good Neighbors.
City Honors graduate Steve Mesler, who became the first Western New Yorker to bring home Olympic gold since Angolas Christian Laettner won with the 1992 U.S. Basketball Dream Team, was a member of the Night Train bobsled team, whose victory in Vancouver was the first for U.S. four-man bobsled since 1948.
Among many appearances, including todays ceremony at City Hall and tonights puck drop at the Buffalo Sabres-Dallas Stars game at HSBC Arena, Mesler is inviting the entire city to a free party at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery from 6:30-9:30pm on Thursday night.

It is a story that encompasses many of the seminal moments in the history of science, and is filled with some of its most colorful and iconoclastic thinkers – Darwin, Pasteur, Crick and Woese, to name just a few.
Mesler examines how the scientific search has been shaped by religion, philosophy and even politics. He will discuss how the march of scientific progress is not nearly as straightforward as we often assume.

Pilot Country Trip in Poor Weather
Short film of short trip from Zhills to Pilot Country. I am flying our Delta Jet while Marsha takes the video from the back seat. Larry is in his Revo and Sean is in his Delta Jet. We are fortunate to fly between the rain clouds and get great video of them. There is some close flying and nice landings.
