Oasis - Revolution Song (AKA...Solve My Mystery)
Revolution Song (AKA...Solve My Mystery) was originally leaked online way way back in 2000 along with Noels demos for the bands post Be Here Now era believed to have been recorded late 1998 early 1999. Almost all the tracks were used for the album "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants" or appeared as B-sides. "It's A Crime (AKA...Let There Be Love)" was later re-worked and appeared on the album "Don't Believe The Truth" but to date "Revolution Song" has yet to have an official release. Lyrics:
They took my faith
They put it in a headlock and
They sealed my fate
Somewhere inside the world
In which they live
Because I failed
They constantly ignore me and
They told me I lost my mind but
I believe that I rule the world
I'm singing out my revolution song
Like nothing else matters
And you can pitch your gold against my soul
But I bet you get shattered
And there's a million houses in my heart
It won't be long
It won't be long
Till I solve my mystery
And what for me
What do I believe in and
A masterkey
Is somewhere inside of the world in which I live
And what for they
They will speak for no-one
And I may have lost my mind
But I believe that I rule my world
I'm singing out my revolution song
Like nothing else matters
You can pitch your gold against my soul
But I bet you get shattered
And there's a million houses in my heart
It won't be long
It won't be long
Till I solve my mystery
And I'm singing out my revolution song
Like nothing else matters
And you can pitch your gold against my soul
But you gotta get shattered
And there's a million houses in my heart
And it won't be long
It won't be long
Till I solve my mystery
Till I solve my mystery

FAITH NO MORE - Matador Live (New Mystery Song) - Maquinaria Festival 2011 - Santiago, Chile
FAITH NO MORE playing an unreleased song live at the Maquinaria Festival 2011 in Santiago Chile on November 12, 2011.
According to SPIN magazine, it might be an unreleased leftover from the sessions from their underrated 1995 record King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime. But since Trey Spruance didn't play this one live, some think it might be a brand new song. So far, FNM hasn't commented on it, so the mystery remains!
Lyrics
When lonesome came over me
A future shadow
Her ghost stood there, sang to me
Farewell, so long
I'll awake you
From this living sleep
We'll walk the shore
Where you were born
And bedded me
Although I cheat for the things
March forward, my son
A battle beyond frozen hills
Only for doubters
We will rise from the killing floor
Like a matador
The stained glass
A bovine ass
Can see right through
Every truth-soaked lie
Letters will trace every step
Out of this world
With every date, every date
We will be where you will be no more
No more
The stained glass
Or the hangman's ass
Would serve you well
Now we're comin' back
Out of the words
Of these ghosts
We'll jump the gates
And left to rise, we will rise
We will rise from the killing floor
Like a matador
And the dead live
May the dead live
And the dead live
What more can we give?
May the dead live
May the dead live
And the dead live
The dead live...

Lyrics:
The boys know what you're giving
You give the boys such a lot of fun
And by the way that you make a living
You've got the boys all on the run
S.T's showing, you really got me going
Maybe you can give me a price
I wanna try it, yeh I wanna buy it
Tell me would you treat me nice
Oh my legs are shaking
Oh my heart is breaking
I'm just feeling like a boy
Now I just can't slow down
Gotta get in go down
Have my share of pride and joy
Now I've got your name and number
I like to look upon your face
And now you know that I wanna take you
Give me the time you can name the place
Call me honey, you can take my money
Maybe we can make a deal
I really mean it, gotta get between it
Do you know the way I feel
Oh I'm feeling kinda
Like I've gotta find
A way to make you understand
Oh I know you're lying
And your love I'm buying
Oh I'm feeling like a man
Railroad she left me standing on a line
Railroad she's really leaving me this time
Leaving on the midnight train
Leaving never gonna come back again
I'm living alone
A place of my own
A bed a chair and one back door
Something went wrong
With the words to my song
And now she ain't around no more
It was something she said
As she laid on my bed
Six or seven hours ago
I guess I was wrong
I really didn't think she would go
Railroad she left me standing on a line
Railroad she's really leaving me this time
Leaving on the midnight train
Leaving never gonna come back again
Walking alone, a street with no phone
Could I be younger most of the time?
Doing her wrong, taking so long
Should I do all things in my own time?
May I be wiser, yes, than most men will ever be?
May I be younger most of the time
Most of the time, most of the time
Most of the time, most of the time
Most of the time, most of the time
Most of the time, most of the time
Most of the time, most of the time
Well, you wouldn't read my letters if I wrote you
You ask me not to call you on the phone
Well, there's something I've been waiting for to tell you
So I wrote it in the words of a song
The glamor of the gay night life has lured you
To the places where the wine and liquer flow
Well, you went to be somebody else's baby
And forget the truest love you ever know
I never knew there where honky-tonk angels
Oh, I might have know you never make a wife
You gave up the only one that ever loved you
And went back to that wild side of life
I never knew there where honky-tonk angels
Oh, I might have know you never make a wife
You gave up the only one that ever loved you
And went back to that wild side of life
I came here in the morning and I crept out in the middle of night
I gave nobody warning I was leaving and I felt it was right
Now I'm off again, it sure is feeling all right
Got a feeling that I'm leaving with a ticket and I won't jump a ride
It's no good you believing that my leaving was a wrong, it was right
Now I'm off again, it sure is feeling all right
Now I'm off again, it sure is feeling all right

New York Dolls w/ Buddy Bowser - "Mystery Song" (UNKNOWN, Live in Syracuse, June '74)
Calling All NY Dolls Devotees: WHAT IS this "Mystery Song"??? NOT on ANY other New York Dolls release of any kind: official, bootleg, etc. Some maintain it's a forerunner of a track by late-period "original" NYD (aka, [mid '70s, post-Thunders & Nolan departure] "Dollettes") called "[It's] On Fire," which was on the live Red Patent Leather LP (rec'd '75, released '84) & which both David Jo. & Sylvain later did solo versions of (EZ to find on YT). BUT chk/listen to "Fire" clips & then listen here/compare: NOT THE SAME SONG. This has a jump-y hook as does "Fire," yes - but it's way more up-tempo, diff. lyrics (that Johansen is barking out in full-tilt raging-rocker cadence), no harmonica, w/ enormous plus of featuring oc'l "6th Doll" Buddy Bowser (played some on 1st NYD LP) blowing great R'n'R saxophone. This Is Pretty Definitively Awesome Dolls on a Good Night, In The Zone, Straight-Up KILL-ing It: Thunders & Sylvain freely developing/ trading blooze-rock gtr licks, Nolan nailing it on drums - &, actually, some very able (better?) bass-playing from NYD tech/aide/"2nd bassist" Peter Jordan, who had subbed extensively while Arthur Kane was out w/ hand injury in '73 (gf tried to cut off his thumb) & continued to thereafter whenever Kane was unable to ... This Syracuse June '74 boot (soph NYD alb Too Much Too Soon had just come out in May) was nabbed when Dolls did a few club dates like this, in the midst of big double-headliner arena spring touring w/, yes, the ascendant KISS - who, 'cor, many say swiped certain elements of Dolls style, dumbed everything waaay down for mass consumption, tightened up their stage gimmickry & commercially viable Kiss-schtick, & made bank... It only recently surfaced in last year (or, appeared on blogs, etc. - & seemed a new item to vet Dolls fans); it's an audience recording w/ some damaged sound BUT, way, WAY worth the listen (sorry for amateur-ish vid "art" but, then again: BFD, still learning - & just wanted to get tune up!). All 17 tracks of show worth it - highly rec'd for Dolls cognoscenti ... AND, finally: to all those NYD disparagers of the '70s & far beyond (even today), who said, in a music-snobby way (as opposed to, in a sense of righteous praise, using diff. words), that NY Dolls of yore were *"not a v. good live band, barely knew how to play,"* etc.? WROOOOONG! More precious proof, right effin' here, to-wit ... But, PEOPLE: "What Is The 'Mystery SONG'?"
