For this chapter and the rest of the game, you get the services of the fortune teller, Hortensia. For a cheap sum of gold, she'll give you some hints about the upcoming battle. In this case, she mentions most of Devisio's army specializes in high accuracy strikes, their leader being a greedy man, and that you should bring Kelik & Althares along to talk with Tekun. Speaking of Tekun, Kelik did something during the story scenes at the start of this chapter that he is not happy about. He also mentions using the bridge where my Anakin & Zach are standing as a possible chokepoint. He's not the only one that joins this chapter. The village closest to where he starts has whom is basically an instant "you are so in my party" unit, Emma. Karina's best for getting to it quickly, but be careful of the enemy Myrmidon near the village who has a Killing Edge. Anyways... Tekun is like Eduardo for me...I never really give him a good enough chance to shine because I've already got enough sword users to play with. He is a damn good unit though. Solid offensive bases (strength, skill, and speed growths are all 50% or better), quite acceptable growths everywhere else. He could potentially because quite the tank which is funny for a Myrmidon. If you do use him, he can support with Kelik & Althares. Emma is an odd case of a Troubadour. Her magic base is more suited to someone about 5-6 levels lower, yet she has extremely high defense for her class. She also has a stunningly low luck base, something most Troubadours in FE games are renowned for. Thankfully, her growths are pretty solid with her only bad ones being hp & defense. No matter how she turns out, she's in my army all the time. Being mounted is a huge advantage. Emma also comes with a Guiding Ring, the first promotion item we can take advantage of. Tamiko is likely lv20 and can use it if you wish, promoting her to Bishop with stat gains of (+3 hp, +1 mag, +2 skl, +1 spd, +2 def, +2 res, +1 con, +1 mov) and the ability to use Light tomes. Now then, while people are fending off Devisio's massive army (So many reinforcements!), Tekun needs to talk to Kelik. Doing so rewards you with Secret #1. There are a total of 7 to pick up during the main game. Getting all of them unlocks extra content in the Constellation/Astral Rift, the post game content of this hack. Also, Althares can have a chat with Tekun. Doing this nets you a free Member Card. Not much else to mention except the Capriccio spear in one Cavalier's hands. It's a pretty interesting spear. Only 10 uses, low hit, but has a massive crit rate of 60. Just make sure you don't have a low defense unit on the end of this spear. The last village in the northern part of the map has an Iron Blade for whomever visits it. Do be careful of the boss though, Perry. Perry has pretty solid stats all across the board, a nasty Silver Spear, and the ability to move and attack anyone in his movement range. Yeah, he moves, something that you wouldn't expect a boss to do. Best to let Kevin lure him in, then dogpile him into oblivion before he can act again. You'll get his Silver Spear upon his defeat. Before killing the last enemy on the map, purchase any last minute items you want. The next set of shops do not appear until chapter 17x so you'll want to be properly geared up to go a few chapters without needing to replace weapons, tomes, or staves.
