And as far as positions in suburbs go, it doesn't get much better than this! We're positioned right on the Esplanade down in Semaphore here with a fantastic sea view and of course that's what attracted the owners when they looked at this property; but recognising that the house is in need of some repair, they decided to give Dowling Homes a ring and have a chat to us about what we could do for them. We have worked on this project in a design aspect and come up with a really spectacular rear-end addition to go on the back of the house. The owners are very receptive to edgy detail and modern, trendy looks and therefore we're going to have this dramatic transition from the house working from the front to the back -- old style on the front and as you walk through, very modern skillion roof design at the back. But more about that later. Part of our brief too is to re-roof the original house back to the iron sheeting instead of tiles, so that together with the back-end build and also a double carport right in the back corner is a very exciting project for us.
