Ada, ADA, or A.D.A. may refer to:

Leighton Marissa Meester (born April 9, 1986) is an American actress and singer. Meester first garnered attention and critical acclaim for playing Blair Waldorf in the CW's teen drama television series Gossip Girl. She most recently appeared in the 2010 country drama film Country Strong, the 2011 thriller The Roommate, and the 2011 romantic-comedy Monte Carlo.

Meester was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Constance and Douglas Meester and lived most of her life in New York City and Los Angeles. Meester's last name is the Dutch word for "master" or "teacher".

At the time of her birth, her mother was serving time in a federal prison for her involvement in a drug ring that smuggled marijuana from Jamaica to the United States. She was able to give birth to Leighton in a hospital and nurse her for three months in a halfway house, before returning to prison to complete her sentence, after which Leighton's grandmother cared for her. She has a brother, Alexander, who is 8 years younger.

Meester has maintained that her parents gave her a normal upbringing and, despite their criminal past, are good people with experience that has only made Meester more open-minded and non-judgmental, "It made me realize that you can't judge anyone — especially your parents — for what they've done in their past, because people change." Meester has joked, "Look, I could've turned out a lot worse." She has cited her mother as her style icon.

Gillian Jacobs ( /ˈɡɪlɪən/; born October 20, 1982) is an American film, theater and television actress, best known for her role as Britta Perry on the NBC comedy series Community.

Jacobs was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh.

She made her name locally at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. There she was a perennial contender in the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest, which led to her being cast as Titania in its production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. After graduating from Mt. Lebanon High School in 2000, Jacobs moved to New York City, New York, to study acting at The Juilliard School, where she was a member of the Drama Division's Group 33.

Jacobs is of Irish, Scottish, German and French heritage.

Jacobs's first national exposure came as Adele Congreve on the television series The Book of Daniel. Although she played Kimberly in the television pilot of Traveler, the role was recast when ABC acquired the series. She subsequently made guest appearances on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Fringe.

He is best known for his roles in the films Galaxy Quest, Jeepers Creepers, Dodgeball, Live Free or Die Hard, He's Just Not That into You, and Drag Me to Hell, and his personification of a Mac in Apple's "Get a Mac" advertising campaign.

Long, the middle of three brothers, was born in Fairfield, Connecticut. His father, Raymond James Long, is a philosophy and Latin professor at Fairfield University, and his mother, Wendy Lesniak, is a former actress who has mostly appeared on stage. Long had a conservative Roman Catholic upbringing. His grandmother is Sicilian. His older brother, Damian, is a local stage actor as well as a teacher and theater director at Weston High School. His younger brother, Christian, appears in Justin's film Accepted as the school mascot. Long attended Fairfield College Preparatory School, a Jesuit school, and Vassar College, where he was a member of the sketch comedy group Laughingstock and starred in several plays, including Butterflies Are Free. Long worked at Sacred Heart University as an acting instructor/counselor for a children's theater group.

Oludotun Jacobs (popularly known as Olu Jacobs, born 1942), is a Nigerian actor. He has starred in several British television series and international films. In 2007 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

Jacobs trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England. He then starred in various British television shows and series in the 1970s (e.g. The Goodies, Till Death Us Do Part, Barlow at Large, The Venturers, Angels, 1990, The Tomorrow People, The Professionals). In the 1980s Jacobs starred in several international films some of which include John Irvin's war film The Dogs of War, Roman Polanski's adventure-comedy Pirates and the family-adventure film Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend. Jacobs has starred in over 120 Nollywood films.

Jacobs is married to Nollywood actress Joke Silva with children.
