AT&T Mobility LLC (branded and referred to as AT&T, formerly Cingular Wireless LLC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T that provides wireless services to 103 million subscribers in the United States, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. AT&T Mobility is the second largest wireless telecommunications provider in the United States and Puerto Rico below Verizon Wireless, which has 108.3 million customers as of the third quarter of 2011. AT&T Mobility is headquartered in the Lenox Park area of DeKalb Co. Georgia, just outside Atlanta.

Originally Cingular Wireless LLC from 2000 to 2007, a joint venture between SBC Communications and BellSouth, the company acquired the old AT&T Wireless in 2004; SBC later acquired the original AT&T and re-branded as "AT&T". Cingular became wholly owned by AT&T in December 2006 as a result of AT&T's acquisition of BellSouth.

In January 2007, Cingular confirmed it would re-brand itself under the AT&T name. Although the legal corporate name change occurred immediately, for both regulatory and brand-awareness reasons both brands were used in the company's signage and advertising during a transition period. The transition concluded in late June, just prior to the rollout of the Apple iPhone.

It is the 3rd largest company in Texas by total revenue (behind ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips) and the largest non-oil company in Texas. It is also the largest company headquartered in Dallas. In 2011, Forbes listed AT&T as the 14th largest company in the world by market value and the 9th largest non-oil company in the world by market value. It is the 20th largest mobile telecom operator in the world with over 100.7 million mobile customers.

Ralph de la Vega, a native of Cuba, since October 2008 is president and CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, which includes wireline as well as wireless networks. Previously, he had been in charge at Cingular Wireless and assumed further responsibilities when AT&T consolidated. Before that, he was the President of Latin America Operations, and the President of Broadband and Internet Services for Bellsouth's operations in ten countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia,Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Nicaragua, and Guatemala).

De la Vega started his career in 1974 with BellSouth (then Southern Bell) as a management assistant. Over the years he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Network Planning, Consumer Services, Engineering, DSL and Operations, including a rotational assignment at Telcordia (Bellcore.) He was responsible for all BellSouth Telecommunications Network Operations in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi,and Louisiana.

De la Vega was selected Executive of the Year by the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and has been listed as one of America’s “50 Most Important Hispanics in Technology and Business.” He is on the board of Junior Achievement of Georgia, where he serves as the chairman of the JA Hispanic Initiative, a program to encourage Hispanic students to remain in school and prepare for success in the U.S. business world. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and is a board member for the Georgia chapter of the Boy Scouts of America.

Luke Cunningham Wilson (born September 21, 1971) is an American film actor known for his roles in Old School, Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tenenbaums, Legally Blonde, Idiocracy and Death at a Funeral.

Wilson was born in Dallas, Texas, a son of Robert Andrew Wilson, an advertising executive and previous executive at KERA, a public television station, and Laura Cunningham Wilson, a photographer. His family, originally from Massachusetts, is Irish Catholic. He is the younger brother of Andrew Wilson and Owen Wilson. All three brothers attended St. Mark's School of Texas. According to his brother Owen, Luke was voted class president the first year he attended St. Mark's. He was a football player, and a track athlete at St. Mark's in the 400 meter, 800 meter and 800 meter relay and holds records in the 3200 relay and 1600 relay (breaking the record two years in a row).

Wilson's acting career began with the lead role in the short film Bottle Rocket in 1994, which was co-written by his older brother Owen Wilson and director Wes Anderson. It was remade as a feature-length film in 1996. After moving to Hollywood with his two brothers, he was cast opposite Calista Flockhart in Telling Lies in America and made a cameo appearance in the film-within-the-film of Scream 2, both in 1997. Wilson filmed back-to-back romantic films in 1998, opposite Drew Barrymore, Best Men, about a group of friends who pull off a heist on their way to a wedding, and Home Fries, about two brothers interested in the same woman for different reasons. He played the doctor beau of a schoolteacher in Rushmore (also 1998), also directed by Anderson and co-written by brother Owen.
