Dong Haichuan () was born on the 13th of October 1797 (or 1813) in Zhu village, Ju Jia Wu Township, Wen'an County, Hebei Province, China and died on the 25th of October 1882 in Beijing. The contemporary Wushu event Nanquan is a modern style created in 1960 derived from martial arts derived in the Chinese provinces south of the Yangtze River and predominantly those styles popular in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Zhejiang. The basis of contemporary Nánquán hail primarily from traditional Cantonese family styles of Hong (Hung), Li (Lei), Liu (Lau), Mo (Mok) and Cai (Choi) along with their more contemporary Kung Fu variants of Choi Lei Fut, Hung Ga and Wing Chun. Contemporary Nanquan features vigorous, athletic movements with very stable, low stances, extensive hand techniques and a vocal articulation called fasheng ("release shout") which is the predecessor of the Japanese and Korean martial arts kiai. Power is driven from sharp waist movement with special emphasis on fast stance transition to generate power and speed in the arms. Signature hand techniques of Nanquan are the consecutive downward strikes of the left and right fist called Gua Gai Quan (Gwa Kup Kuen; 挂盖拳), and consecutive upper cut while driving forward called Paoquan (Pow Kuen; 抛拳). There are relatively few kicks in Nanquan although the Tengkong Pantui Cepu (腾空盘腿度侧扑; "flying cross legs kick and land on the side") and Li Yu Da Ting (鲤鱼打挺直立; carp skip-up) are very common in advanced Nanquan routines. In 2003, the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) changed the rules of contemporary Nanquan to make jumping techniques (难度) mandatory in Nanquan routines. Jump kicks spinning in mid-air between 360 and 720 degrees before touching the ground are now used in all Nanquan forms along with Stationary Back Flip (原地后空翻) and Single Step Back Tuck (单跳后空翻) for advanced competitors.

Wang Peng (Chinese:王鹏) (born June 16, 1978 in Dalian) is a former Chinese international footballer who played as a striker. Throughout his playing career he was predominantly remembered for his time at Dalian Shide where he won several Chinese league titles with them before having short spells with Sichuan Guancheng and Shaanxi Chanba.

Wang Peng started his professional career with Dalian Wanda in the 1996 season making 3 appearances and scoring 1 goal. The following season was to prove extremely successful for Wang Peng as he won the league title with Dalian, playing a significant role by making 22 appearances and scoring 7 goals.[1] During his time with Dalian he won several league titles and one Chinese FA Cup with them.[2] By the 2004 season Wang Peng saw his playing time significantly reduced with the arrival of Ermin Šiljak and the return of Zoran Janković.
Loan moves and Shaanxi Chanba[link]
Wang Peng moved to Sichuan Guancheng for one season where he regained his form by scoring 8 goals in his 23 appearances, however Sichuan Guancheng disbanded the following season and Wang Peng moved to Xi'an Chanba on loan.[3] After one season with Xi'an Chanba Wang Peng moved back to Dalian for one more season before returning to Xi'an Chanba (which had changed its name to Shaanxi Chanba) on a permanent basis for 2,000,000 RMB.
International career[link]
Wang Peng would make his debut for the senior team on November 22, 1998 in a friendly against South Korea in a 0-0 draw.[4] His performance was considered good enough for him to be included in 1998 Asian Games where Wang Peng would score his first goal against Lebanon and help China come third and in the tournament.[5] He would unfortunately lose favour with new head coach Bora Milutinović and miss the 2002 FIFA World Cup, however while he would regain his position within the Chinese squad when Arie Haan became the next head coach Wang Peng could not take part in the 2004 AFC Asian Cup when he sustained an injury before the tournament. On his return to the national team he found it differcult to gain consistent playing time yet was still included in the 2007 AFC Asian Cup squad but did not play in any of their games in a disappointing tournament.

The name is a phrase in Chinese to explain having strength while being gentle as a mother. They are closely tied with the Taiwanese artist Jay Chou. The group was nominated for Best Singing Group at the 19th Golden Melody Awards in 2008.[1]
The current members are Devon (drummer, DJ, rapper) and Yuhao (pianist, rapper). Each of the members contribute to composing their songs, and also sing together in most of their songs, although some of their songs are composed and sung solely by one of the members, such as the song "Crystal Dragonfly" (水晶蜻蜓) which was composed and sung by Lara. As of June 2006, they are the official spokespeople for Motorola in Taiwan.[2]

He Jing (born October 10, 1983 in Liaoning) is a Chinese sprint canoer who competed since the mid 2000s. She won two medals in the K-4 1000 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a silver in 2007 and a bronze in 2006.
He also finished seventh in the K-4 500 m event at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

The All-China Games is a quadrennial national multi-sports event for non-Olympic sports in China. The events are not really competitions and the games "give priority to promoting national physical fitness and providing lots of fun for amateur athletes".[1]
Events include: dragon boat racing, lion dancing, Chinese wrestling, trampoline, dance sports, bridge, golf, aerobics, water skiing, parachuting, body building and fitness, billiards, chess, Chinese chess, mountaineering and climbing, squash, orienteering, hobby craft, wireless location hunt, bowling, roller sports, open water swimming, tug of war; fin swimming, goal ball, boules, bridge, fin swimming, billiards and "Go (game)".
One of the aims is to promote sport and the whole event is dubbed a "national fitness program". So there are no medal rankings.
The Games are organised by the State General Administration of Sports (SGAS). In the past the games have not been widely publicised.

The first All-China Games were held in 2002 in the city of Ningbo.[1]
The third games ran 20-30 May 2006, and included 28 sports and 268 disciplines .
The 4th All-China Games, held from 16 to 26 May 2010 in Hefei city, Anhui, mark a major expansion in terms of the number of participants, up from 4,000 to 30,000. There will be 34 sports and a new "awarding system" that means that 60 percent of the participants receive some sort of award. Hong Kong is sending a team for the first time.[2][3]
