Dutch model Bette Franke skipped New York Fashion Week to marry Ilja Cornelisz, an economics and education researcher from Amsterdam. She bypassed designer labels and wore a dress made by her sister (which they designed together) with white pumps by Maison Martin Margiela.
When: Saturday, September 7 (the same day they first met and the date her grandparents married).
Where: Netherlands.
