The Brothers: John Foster Dulles, Allen Dulles and Their Secret World War
Stephen Kinzer's book provides us with a glimpse into the overt and covert policies of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and CIA Director Allen Dulles during the Eisenhower administration and how their actions and "secret world war" shaped and changed the trajectory of 6 countries and created a pattern of interventions that benefited U.S. interests that linger with us until today.- published: 04 Nov 2013

1961 Dickinson Gators versus John Foster Dulles Vikings
1961 Dickinson Gators versus John Foster Dulles Vikings
Dickinson is wearing the white uniforms. This is the 1961 game between the Dickinson Gators and (we think) the Dulles Vikings. If so, then it was played for the district championship because it was the last game of the season and both teams were undefeated in district play. It looks like this was at the original Sam Vitanza stadium in Dickinson, Texas. The players on the sidelines were wearing jackets over their uniforms, so the game must have been in October or November, toward the end of the season. The last four games of the Gators 1961 season were West Columbia, Santa Fe, Needville and John Foster Dulles. Thanks very much to Jack Horne and Dennis Cooke for unearthing this game film!- published: 27 Nov 2013

A NOTE FROM BRYAN:
It's hard for an independent artist to get airplay - it costs around $10,000 for the distribution and promotion you need to have a decent shot getting one song played in one smaller radio format alongside the singles from big record companies (it costs more for larger radio formats like pop, etc.). Thanks to your support, my song I See You (http://ISeeYouGod.com/) is getting added to more stations every week.
I could use your ongoing help making sure my new album gets noticed in a market dominated by big corporations. Here are some things you can do that make a big difference.
1) Listen to the album preview and share it with friends. You can do that, free for a limited time, at: http://SoGoodForTheSoul.com.
2) Share. If you're in a rush, share this post. If you can take a minute, share one or more of these articles:
