Plot
Arrested by Delhi Police, Mussaddi Lal Tripathi admits his crime is because he is a 'common man'. Starting with his retirement as a school-teacher, and then the ailment and subsequent passing of his wife, Shanti, he sets about to perform last rites in a number of holy places along with his unemployed slacker-son, Bunty. After bribing railway employees for letting them travel without tickets, the duo are then fleeced by pundits who charge them an arm and a leg for performing Hindu cremation rites, and Bunty then leaves him after their clothes get stolen. Three months later, he returns home to find that both electricity and the phone have been disconnected due to non-payment of bills, & confusion reigns when bank officials accuse him of taking a loan. But the worst is yet to come when he will be deprived of any income after Pension and Accounts Office notify him that he is 'officially dead'. He will now be pitted against more corruption when he sets about to prove that he is very much alive, while five government employees, Bhatia, Pandey, Patel, Ushaa, and Shukla, are determined to frustrate all his efforts.

Plot

Plot
An eligible bachelor and Bollywood film-maker, Amar lives a wealthy lifestyle in Mumbai. He meets with and falls in love with an actress, Gul, romances, and then marries her. They live harmoniously for a few years then differences crop up, and a pregnant Gul decides to leave, and starts making a living as a high-class prostitute with Balaam Hyderabadi as her pimp. She gives birth to a daughter, Sona, and with Kishan Murari's help, admits her in a hostel in Delhi, so that Sona can grow up without knowing her mother's professional career. She then gives birth to Mohan and let's him live with her but keeps her professional life a secret from him as well. As years pass, she starts to age and Balaam asks her to get a young woman on whom she can depend on financially. Initially Gul refuses but when she is assaulted and hospitalized, she changes her mind and brings home a young prostitute, Roopa, who was also a patient in the hospital, and introduces her to a much-delighted Balaam. With Roopa in the house and her future secure, Gul decides to visit Sona in Delhi - and it is this visit that will alter her life forever.

Plot
An American boy and girl, spending six months in Kenya with their scientist parents adopt a cheetah, only to realize that they must set it loose so that it can learn to hunt and be free. However, when the animal is captured by poachers planning to race it against greyhounds, the two city kids, together with a young African goat herder they befriended, head off into the wild to rescue the cheetah.

Plot
Det. Const. "Dangerous" Davies is not known for his finesse, but often finds himself on the receiving end of violence in various forms. Only thrown into cases where others fear to tread, or to shake up the natives with his bumbling, he is given a mission to find and flush out a local criminal recently returned from abroad, possibly for "a big job". In his research he inadvertently stumbles upon a 15 year-old case, long considered cold, of the disappearance a young girl. His compassion for the missing girl and her parents draws him into an obsession with solving the case, which ultimately results in unexpected repercussions.

Fiesta Transformer 2013
My first car was a 1988 Ford Fiesta gifted to me by my father as I turned 17. Born in the UK to immigrant Indian parents, the passing of a car between generations provided me with my first taste of independence. In this new work, I’ve turned my hand to a newly acquired 1988 Ford Fiesta of the same specifications as my original car to create my first sculpture. Manufactured in England, this car stands as a symbol of working class Britain, a native body, albeit here a car body.
Another significant influence for me and this work are Transformers, an American film and toy franchise since 1984, and a widely recognisable pop culture reference that reaches far back in Hetain’s memory. In this new sculpture, Transformers have been made manifest, physically, in a literal transformation of a Ford Fiesta car into a large-scale squatting human-like figure. For me, these ‘robots in disguise’ (as per the cartoon’s theme tune) stand as a metaphor for the other, in a fantasy world where they can transform out of a marginal position into one of empowerment.
Importantly, I created this sculpture together with my father, with additional help from my engineer brother and fellow Transformers enthusiast, Pritum Patel. My father, whose day job is to convert cars into hearses and limousines for funerals, has carried out all the fabrication and structural work with me. This work is the third in an ongoing collaboration between us (other works are: video work, To Dance Like Your Dad, 2009 and live performance Me and me Dad and me Wife, 2012, both presented in 2012 at the Tanks at Tate Modern).
Unlike the popular toys and films, however, the car here is not a high-powered sports car or truck transformed into a powerful warrior, but rather a small inexpensive Ford Fiesta transformed into a human-like figure calmly squatting. This posture is a recurring image in my work and forges a link between the lower classes in India and my immigrant family in the U.K, both of whom sit comfortably this way. Naturally this introduces a tension in this sculpture between the seemingly submissive nature of the squat and in this case, it’s oddly larger than life scale.
As an artist who is most often the main protagonist in my work, this sculpture is the first time that my representation of the body is not immediately visibly linked to my ethnicity. The material and aesthetic of the work lend themselves to wider interpretations and contradictions around identity, exploring the increasingly murky ground between reality and fantasy, fixed identity and transformation.

Ameesha Patel (pronounced [əˈmiːʂaː pəˈʈeːl]; born Amisha Amit Patel on 9 June 1975) is an Indian actress who appears in mainly Bollywood movies. Making her acting debut in the blockbuster Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), Patel won critical praise for her performance in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), which became one of the biggest hits in the history of Hindi cinema, earning her a Filmfare Special Performance Award. She would subsequently star in a number of films, most of which proved unsuccessful at the box office. However, her performance in the 2006 film Ankahee, received critical recognition, and she followed it with a supporting role in the hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007).

listen)) (31 October 1875 – 15 December 1950) was an Indian barrister and statesman, one of the leaders of the Indian National Congress and one of the founding fathers of India. He is known to be a social leader of India who played an unparalleled role in the country's struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation.Therefore he is also regarded as "Bismarck of India". He was known as the "Iron Man of India". In India and across the world, he was often addressed as Sardar, which means Chief in Hindi, Urdu, and Persian.
He was raised in the countryside of Gujarat in a family of Gurjar Leva-Patidars Vallabhbhai Patel was employed in successful practice as a lawyer when he was first inspired by the work and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. Patel subsequently organised the peasants of Kheda, Borsad, and Bardoli in Gujarat in non-violent civil disobedience against oppressive policies imposed by the British Raj; in this role, he became one of the most influential leaders in Gujarat. He rose to the leadership of the Indian National Congress and was at the forefront of rebellions and political events, organising the party for elections in 1934 and 1937, and promoting the Quit India movement.

Ajay Devgan (Hindi: अजय देवगन), born Vishal Devgan on 2 April 1969, is an Indian film actor, director, and producer. He made his film debut with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 and received a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in the film. He then starred in films such as Jigar (1992), Dilwale (1994), Suhaag (1994), Naajayaz (1995), Diljale (1996) and Ishq (1997). In 1999, Devgan received his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Mahesh Bhatt's drama Zakhm. Mahima Chaudhary (born Ritu Chaudhry on 13 September 1973) is an Indian actress and a former model who appears in Bollywood films. She made her acting debut in the 1997 film Pardes, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Chaudhary was born Ritu Chaudhry in Darjeeling, West Bengal. Her father is from Kakripur village in Baghpat, Western Uttar Pradesh. Her mother is of Nepali origin and hails from Darjeeling. She attended Darjeeling based famous convent school till class X and later moved to Loreto Convent for her plus two levels. She completed her ISC board in 1988. She also attended Loreto College in Darjeeling. She won a local beauty pageant in Darjeeling before moving to Delhi for college. Initially in the 1990s, she appeared in TV advertisements (including the Wall's ice cream ad when the brand entered India), and was a VJ on music channels where she was noticed by Subhash Ghai. Ghai gave her a break in the movie Pardes, which was released in 1997. Ghai also renamed her due to some superstition. He considered M to be lucky for her.
