The flag of the U.S. state of Nevada consists of a cobalt blue field with a variant of the state's emblem in the upper left hand corner. The emblem contains a silver star, below which appears the state's name. Above the star is a golden-yellow scroll with the words "Battle Born", one of the state's mottos (in reference to Nevada becoming a state during the American Civil War). Below the star and state name are two sprays of green sagebrush (the state flower) with yellow flowers.

The first flag of Nevada was created by Governor John Sparks and Col. Harry Day in 1905. It was based strongly on Nevada's natural resources of gold and silver. The blue of the flag was based directly on the color of the flag of the United States.
Nevada (Spanish for "snow covered") is a state in the Western, Mountain West, and Southwestern regions of the United States of America. Nevada is the 7th most extensive, the 35th most populous, and the 9th least densely populated of the 50 United States. Nearly three-quarters of Nevada's people live in Clark County, which contains the Las Vegas–Paradise metropolitan area where three of the state's four largest incorporated cities are located. Nevada's capital is Carson City. Nevada is officially known as the "Silver State" due to the importance of silver to its history and economy. It is also known as the "Battle Born State", because it achieved statehood during the Civil War (the words "Battle Born" also appear on the state flag); as the "Sagebrush State", for the native plant of the same name; and as "Sage hen State". Nevada borders Oregon to the northwest, Idaho to the northeast, California to the west, Arizona to the southeast and Utah to the east.
Nevada is largely desert and semiarid, much of it located within the Great Basin. Areas south of the Great Basin are located within the Mojave Desert, while Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada lie on the western edge. About 86% of the state's land is managed by various jurisdictions of the U.S. federal government, both civilian and military.

www.undergroundworldnews.com Back in October 2012, the Nevada State Personnel Watch Blog, which describes itself as 'exposing rampant, wholesale Nevada corruption - the Nevada ANTI-Corruption movement' put out a story exposing several suspected FEMA camps in the state of Nevada. The former Nevada state prison in Carson City made the list, and likely for good reason as we see what appears to be new barbed wire and fencing in some of the pictures below videos. How many more of these FEMA camps are there across America and what is the real purpose of them? The Nellis Range controller "Black Jack" can only be heard when they are using a certain radio site. The tower at Groom Lake is usually strong enough to be understandable. Approach and departure control for Groom Lake is only heard when they are using a certain radio site. "Lion" and "Cedar: are Janet type flights. "Luvin" and "Clover" are other types from Groom. This would include the Groom Helos and chase planes (F-16s etc.) For Tonopah Test tower(Silverbow), I only had the UHF freq. The tower itself can't be heard. Callsigns from Groom and Silverbow...
