Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, investor, record producer, and actor. He rose to fame with the release of his albums Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2003) and The Massacre (2005). His album Get Rich or Die Tryin' has been certified eight times platinum by the RIAA.

Born in the South Jamaica of Queens, New York City, Jackson began drug dealing at the age of twelve during the 1980s crack epidemic. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he was shot at and struck by nine bullets during an incident in 2000. After releasing his album Guess Who's Back? in 2002, Jackson was discovered by rapper Eminem and signed to Interscope Records. With the help of Eminem and Dr. Dre, who produced his first major commercial successes, Jackson became one of the world's highest selling rappers. In 2003, he founded the record label G-Unit Records, which signed several successful rappers such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.

Khoi Vinh (born December 3, 1971) is a graphic designer, blogger, and former Design Director for The New York Times, where he worked from January 2006 until July 2010.Fast Company named Vinh one of "The 50 Most Influential Designers in America" in September 2011.

He was born in 1971 in Saigon, South Vietnam and immigrated to the United States at the age of three and a half with his family. He grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He attended Otis College of Art and Design, graduating with a major in Graphic Design in 1993. In 1998, he moved to New York and began designing almost exclusively for the web and interactive media.

In 2001, he founded a design studio, Behavior, with colleagues, which he left when he went to work at the The New York Times. He helped manage and run the company for four successful years before leaving in December 2005. He became the design director for NYTimes.com in 2006. During his five-year tenure, he remade the way design is practiced at The New York Times. Shortly after leaving The Times, he published a book, "Ordering Disorder: Grid Principles for Web Design" (New Riders), on December 3, 2010. In 2011, he and Scott Ostler founded Lascaux Co., a New York City startup. In November 2011, the company launched Mixel, an iPad app combining the power of social networks and multi-touch tablets to let people from all walks of life make art.

Spencer Ackerman is an American national security reporter and blogger. He began his career at The New Republic and currently writes for Wired magazine's national security blog, Danger Room.

Ackerman graduated from Rutgers University where he was an editor for the Daily Targum student paper. In 2002, he moved to Washington D.C. to become an intern and later an associate editor at The New Republic magazine. He initially supported the Iraq War, but became disillusioned and in 2004 started a blog on The New Republic website called Iraq'd which chronicled the dilemma of pro-war liberals. He also wrote, with John B. Judis, an article that started the chain of events that led to the Plame affair.

In 2006 Ackerman was fired from TNR for "insubordination" (in TNR editor Franklin Foer's account) or "irreconciliable ideological differences" (in Ackerman's). He subsequently wrote for The American Prospect (which offered him a job within a day of his firing) and Talking Points Memo. Ackerman blogged and reported on national security issues at the Washington Independent from the paper's creation in 2008 until 2010, when he left for Wired.
