She is a professor of economics and also director the Center for Public Policy and Administration at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She testified as an expert witness at the federal trial in California, Perry v. Schwarzenegger, to determine the constitutionality of Proposition 8. [Is currently a respondent in this study and has been interviewed.] Judith Bradford PhD IOM of the National Academies Ellen Perrin M.D. M.A. Tufts University Ellen C. Perrin, MD, professor of pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. "The vast consensus of all the studies shows that children of same-sex parents do as well as children whose parents are heterosexual in every way...In some ways children of same-sex parents actually may have advantages over other family structures." [Is currently a respondent and has been interviewed.] Nanette Gartrell M.D. UC San Francisco Associate clinical professor of psychiatry at University of California, San Francisco. She is the author of over 50 original research reports on lesbian mental health. She is instrumental in the U.S.A. National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study (NLLFS), published in Pediatrics: Official Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Journal of Orthopsychiatry and the Journal of Lesbian Studies. The NLLFS the longest-running study (24 years) ever conducted on American lesbian and gay families-. This study finds that the children areas healthy & well-adjusted as children raised in heterosexual families. [Is currently a respondent in this study, has been interviewed] Letitia Anne Peplau PhD UCLA Psychology Dr. Peplau is a professor of social psychology, Director, Interdisciplinary Relationship Science Program (IRSP), and Vice Chair for Graduate Studies in Psychology, UCLA. Trained as a social psychologist, her research focuses on topics at the intersection of gender, sexual orientation, & intimate relationships. Her current research includes: sexual orientation, sexual identity, same-sex couples, gender and close relationships. She conducts a weekly research forum, the UCLA Sex & Gender Lab, for faculty, graduate students and postdocs. Dr. Peplau was an expert witness for the plaintiffs in the 2010 federal Prop 8 trial, Perry vs. Schwarzenegger.
