WTF: Kylie wants complete ownership over her name [INSTAGRAM]
But never mind that – because Miss Jenner reckons she's the most famous Kylie in the land.
The 17-year-old has reportedly filed an application to trademark her famous first name, despite Minogue releasing her first album under the moniker in 1988 – nearly a decade before Jenner was born.
According to TMZ, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star filed a motion last month to trademark her first name for "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture".

Viz is a popular British comic magazine founded in 1979 by Chris Donald. It parodies British comics of the post-war period, notably The Beano and The Dandy, but with vulgar language, toilet humour, black comedy, surreal humour and generally sexual or violent storylines. It also sends up tabloid newspapers, with mockeries of articles and letters pages. It features parody competitions and advertisements for overpriced 'limited edition' tat, as well as obsessions with half-forgotten kitsch celebrities from the 1960-80s, such as Shakin' Stevens and Rodney Bewes. Occasionally, it satirises current events and politicians, but has no particular political standpoint.
Its success in the early 1990s led to the appearance of numerous rivals crudely copying the format Viz pioneered; none of them has managed seriously to challenge its popularity. It once enjoyed being the third most popular magazine in the UK,[1] but ABC-audited sales have since dropped, to an average of 50,750 per issue in 2014[2] (from 1.2 million).
A stop sign ironically defaced with a plea not to deface stop signs.
Irony (from Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία (eirōneía), meaning "dissimulation, feigned ignorance"[1]), in its broadest sense, is a rhetorical device, literary technique, or event in which what appears, on the surface, to be the case, differs radically from what is actually the case. Irony may be divided into categories such as: verbal, dramatic, and situational.
Verbal, dramatic, and situational irony are often used for emphasis in the assertion of a truth. The ironic form of simile, used in sarcasm, and some forms of litotes can emphasize one's meaning by the deliberate use of language which states the opposite of the truth, denies the contrary of the truth, or drastically and obviously understates a factual connection.[2]
Other forms, as identified by historian Connop Thirlwall, include dialectic and practical irony.[3]

Copyleft (a play of the word copyright) is the practice of offering people the right to freely distribute copies and modified versions of a work with the stipulation that the same rights be preserved in derivative works down the line.[1]
Copyleft is a form of licensing and copyright law, and can be used to maintain copyright conditions for works ranging from computer software, to documents, to art. In general, copyright law is used by an author to prohibit recipients from reproducing, adapting, or distributing copies of their work. In contrast, under copyleft, an author may give every person who receives a copy of the work permission to reproduce, adapt, or distribute it, with the accompanying requirement that any resulting copies or adaptations are also bound by the same licensing agreement.
Copyleft licenses (for software) require that information necessary for reproducing and modifying the work must be made available to recipients of the executable. The source code files will usually contain a copy of the license terms and acknowledge the author(s).
Copyleft type licenses are a novel use of existing copyright law to ensure a work remains freely available. The GNU General Public License, originally written by Richard Stallman, was the first software copyleft license to see extensive use, and continues to dominate in that area. Creative Commons, a non-profit organization founded by Lawrence Lessig, provides a similar license provision condition called ShareAlike.
History[edit]
Felix Dennis started out in the magazine business in the late 1960s as one of the editors of the counterculture magazine OZ. In the mid-1970s, Dennis Publishing was born, beginning with a kung-fu magazine, Kung Fu monthly.
Dennis followed this up in the early 1980s by publishing titles in the soon-to-be-lucrative computer enthusiast sector, including Your Spectrum (later renamed Your Sinclair and sold to Future Publishing). Dennis has since maintained a foothold in the computer magazine business - until Maxim's success in the US in the late 1990s, computer magazines were the mainstay of Dennis' magazine holdings, second only to Future Publishing in the UK.
Dennis Publishing, Inc. publishes one of the most successful modern men's lifestyle magazines in America - Maxim (2.5 million rate base) - along with Stuff (1.3 million rate base) and general interest music magazine Blender (800,000 rate base). Maxim, Stuff and Blender are registered trademarks of Felix Dennis.
On 5 February 2005, Maxim Radio was launched on Sirius Satellite Radio. On 12 November 2008, Sirius and XM merged, and 5 days later Sirius XM Stars Too debuted on Sirius Satellite Radio on Sirius 108 and XM 139. In May 2011, Stars Too moved to channel 104 on both services.[1]
On 15 February 2007, Dennis Publishing, Inc. announced that it had retained media investment firm, Allen & Company as its exclusive financial advisor to explore various strategic alternatives available to the Company including a possible sale of the Company.[2][3]
In June 2007, all of Dennis's United States holdings - minus the U.S. edition of The Week - were sold to the private equity firm Quadrangle Group, this included the editions of Maxim, Stuff & Blender.[4]
In January 2008, Dennis Publishing acquired the online news site The First Post for an undisclosed sum.[5]
In February 2008, Dennis Publishing announced the launch of iGizmo, a free fortnightly interactive digital magazine dedicated to gadgets and consumer technology, launching on 11 March.
In November 2008, Dennis Publishing acquired the online games and hardware enthusiast website bit-tech.net for an undisclosed sum.[6]
For 2012, Dennis Publishing, producing more than 50 magazines, increased its group pre-tax profits by 35% year-on-year from £4.1m to £5.5m. Group operating profit climbed almost 12% to £4.9m. Group turnover, excluding share of joint venture revenues, rose slightly year on year to just over £70m. Revenues including joint ventures climbed 3% to £77.7m. Operations in the UK accounted for almost 84% of total revenues.[7]
Since Felix Dennis' death in 2014, Dennis Publishing has been owned by the Heart of England Forest Charity,[8] a charity set up by Felix Dennis with the mission of “the plantation, re-plantation, conservation and establishment of trees for the benefit of the public, together with the education of the public by the promulgation of knowledge and the appreciation of trees”.[9]
8 Out of 10 Cats is a British television comedy panel game produced by Zeppotron. The show is hosted by Jimmy Carr and the current team captains are Sean Lock and Jon Richardson.

The Hipster Elite Exposed: Fighting Back Against the Culture of Phonies, Elitists & Creeps (2014)
Gregory John "Greg" Gutfeld (born September 12, 1964) is an American television personality, political satirist, author, humorist, magazine editor, and blogger....
Gregory John "Greg" Gutfeld (born September 12, 1964) is an American television personality, political satirist, author, humorist, magazine editor, and blogger. Gutfeld is the host of Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld on the Fox News Channel. He is also one of five co-hosts/panelists on Fox News' political talk-show The Five, which debuted on July 11, 2011. Gutfeld's co-hosts on The Five have referred to him as "The Rod Serling of political and social commentary." Gutfeld is a self-described libertarian.
Gutfeld was born in San Mateo, California. He attended Junípero Serra High School[3] and the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 1987 with a B.A. in English.[4][5] In a 2009 interview, Gutfeld explained that he started to experience a change in his political thinking while he was attending UC Berkeley:[6]
"I became a conservative by being around liberals (at UC Berkeley) and I became a libertarian by being around conservatives. You realize that there's something distinctly in common between the two groups, the left and the right; the worst part of each of them is the moralizing."
He currently resides in New York City with his wife, Elena Moussa, whom he met in London, where he lived for three years. He has described himself as an "agnostic atheist".[6][7] Gutfeld was raised Catholic and once was an altar boy.[8]
After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in English, he interned at The American Spectator, as an assistant to conservative writer R. Emmett Tyrrell. He landed his first full-time job as a staff writer at Prevention magazine. He formerly worked in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, for approximately a decade as an editor at various Rodale Press magazines. In 1995 he became a staff writer at Men's Health. He was promoted to editor in chief of Men’s Health in 1999. A week later, he was fired and replaced by David Zinczenko. Gutfeld then became editor in chief of Stuff, increasing circulation from 750,000 to 1.2 million during his tenure. In 2003 he hired several little people to attend a conference of the “Magazine Publishers of America” on the topic of “buzz,” with instructions to be as loud and annoying as possible. The stunt generated publicity but led to Gutfeld’s being fired soon afterward; he was then made head of “brain development” at Dennis Publishing.[5]
He helmed Maxim magazine in the UK from 2004 to 2006.[5] However, Gutfeld’s contract expired without renewal after losses in readership under his tenure.[9]
Gutfeld was one of the first posting contributors to The Huffington Post from its launch in 2005 until October 2008; frequent targets of his sarcasm included his colleagues Deepak Chopra, Cenk Uygur, Arianna Huffington, and Huffington Post bloggers. Many of his Huffington Post commentaries/blogs are still available on its website.[10] Gutfeld has his own blog site, The Daily Gut.
Since February 5, 2007, Gutfeld has hosted the hour-long Fox News Channel late-night program, Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld, which airs at 3 a.m. Eastern Time. From 2007 to 2013, Bill Schulz served as Gutfeld’s "sidekick" and Andy Levy as the show’s ombudsman. Schulz is a former colleague of Gutfeld’s from Stuff magazine and Levy was a blogger at The Huffington Post. In 2013, Shulz left the show for undisclosed reasons; Levy moved to being a permanent panelist and Joanne Nosuchinsky joined as a permanent panelist soon afterwards.
On July 11, 2011, Gutfeld became a co-host/panelist on the Fox News political opinion discussion program The Five. The program airs weekdays at 5 p.m. ET/2 PM PT.[11]
Gutfeld appeared on the television sitcom Louie in the episode "Come On, God", which aired on August 11, 2011. He played himself, hosting a parody version of Red Eye, in which he moderated a debate on masturbation.

Dana Marie Perino (born May 9, 1972) was the 27th White House Press Secretary, serving under President George W. Bush from September 14, 2007 to January 20, 2009. She was the second female White House Press Secretary, after Dee Dee Myers who served during the Clinton Administration.
