Sinossi Utility Fog è un cortometraggio di denuncia verso l'uso spropositato della tecnologia e sul tema della strumentalizzazione tramite i mass media e pone la tecnologia di fronte l'amicizia, la salute e l'amore. Una visione drammatica e perversa del lato oscuro della modernizzazione della società. Una donna (Justine Mattera) che si lascia plagiare da oggetti di nebbia, da qui il perchè del titolo. Appuntamenti in video chat erotiche, pranzi prenotati online, ore e ore davanti al computer e alla televisione. Il corto è per il 90% muto, con un forte impatto audio, per enfatizzare il livello di drammaticità che vive la protagonista. Una regia perfetta, che punta molto su un gioco di flare, primi piani e luci in camera. Importanza fondamentale è la presenza della Mattera che fa da ciliegina sulla torta in un corto di pura attualità, pronto a colpire al cuore e alla testa. La protagonista, esperta nel campo, muta attimi di tristezza in pose sensuali da un momento all'altro: fa arrossire il pubblico, lo fa piangere e pensare. Un corto ben riuscito per l'alchimia tra sceneggiatura, regia e interpretazione.
