Brittany Hodges Marsino is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Brittany was introduced on December 1, 1999 by former executive producer Edward J. Scott. The role was first portrayed by actress Vanessa Lee Evigan. Evigan departed on February 25, 2000 after a three-month stint, and was replaced by Lauren Woodland, who debuted on March 7. Brittany's storylines included relationships with Raul Guittierez (David Lago) and J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Woodland said that the romance with Raul changed the character who was previously manipulative and sexual.
Brittany began working at a club owned by Bobby Marsino as a stripper and later a singer, for which she created the stage alter-ego Marilyn. Woodland enjoyed working on this storyline because she is an entertainer in real life. She eventually married Bobby and they had a child together. Bobby died in an accident and Brittany left town on November 2, 2005. The character was well-received; three years after her departure, Luke Kerr of Zap2It said that he missed when the character was on, and he wrote that, "It's really too bad that Lauren wasn't snapped up by another soap after leaving Y&R."
Brittany (/ˈbrɪtənɪ/; French: Bretagne [bʁə.taɲ]; Breton: Breizh, pronounced [bʁɛjs] or [bʁɛχ];Gallo: Bertaèyn, pronounced [bəʁ.taɛɲ]) is a cultural region in the north-west of France. Covering the western part of Armorica, as it was known during the period of Roman occupation, Brittany subsequently became an independent kingdom and then a duchy before being united with the Kingdom of France in 1532 as a province governed as if it were a separate nation under the crown. Brittany has also been referred to as Less, Lesser or Little Britain (as opposed to Great Britain). It is bordered by the English Channel to the north, the Celtic Sea and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Bay of Biscay to the south. Its land area is 34,023 km² (13,136 sq mi).
The historical province of Brittany is now split among five French departments: Finistère in the west, Côtes-d'Armor in the north, Ille-et-Vilaine in the north east, Loire-Atlantique in the south east and Morbihan in the south on the Bay of Biscay. Since reorganisation in 1956, the modern administrative region of Brittany comprises only four of the five Breton departments, or 80% of historical Brittany. The remaining area of old Brittany, the Loire-Atlantique department around Nantes, now forms part of the Pays de la Loire region.

I finally made a video to my favorite female character on a soap - Brittany Hodges. I still miss Lauren Woodland on the show, and will probably always be hoping for a return (and a happy ending for my JT & Brittany). For now though, I just made this a dedication to Brittany AND Lauren's awesome run on the show. :D For those who don't hear what Brittany and Billy are saying at the end; Billy: Nobody can outshine you. Brittany: Aw, you keep saying the nicest things. You're turning my head. Billy: Turn your head this way. I picked that scene because David Tom and Lauren Woodland had awesome chemistry. Naturally, their characters were a mismatch at the time, and Billy/Mac were the popular ship. But yeah, I would have loved if Billy/Brittany had struck up a friendship just cause they r...
Here you go Lauren! It misses some of Brittany's first scene with Jill and Katherine but the rest is there. It includes clips from two uploaders, hence the first JT scene is worse quality but since it is about Britt, I thought it should be included. The goodbye between Brittany and JT always kills me :(

Brittany Hodges scored 30 points and claimed 13 rebounds to help Furman down UNC Asheville, 81-71, in women's basketball action Wednesday evening at Timmons Arena. Hodges, the Southern Conference's Preseason Player of the Year, had her way against the Bulldogs in notching the second 30-point performance of her career, canning 12-of-18 shots and 6-of-9 free throws in 32 minutes of action. The 13 rebounds marked her 27th career double-double. Whitney Bunn, the SoCon's reigning player of the week, failed to score in the first half, playing only 10 minutes due to two early fouls. She hit the gas in the second half, however, tall...
Brittany Hodges scored 17 points and Allison Beasley registered career highs with 13 points and seven rebounds to power Furman past Appalachian State, 73-54, in Southern Conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon at Timmons Arena. The win, the seventh in the last nine games for Furman (8-6, 2-1 SoCon), halted a five-game series losing skid to Appalachian State (3-9, 0-2 SoCon) and marked the Paladins' largest triumph over the Mountaineers since the 2000-01 season. Hodges, a junior forward and the SoCon's reigning player of the week, spiced her 17-point performance with nine rebounds, a block, and an assist in 32 minutes of action. Her two free throws put Furman ahead, 13-12, midway through the first half and ignited a 15-0 run that gave the Paladins control of the contest t...
