Former Prison Officer Sam Bailey has been thrown into the spotlight after winning The X Factor at the end of last year. However, despite her new found fame, she proved to Jonathan that she hasn’t forgotten what she learned during her time as a prison officer and she showed him a move that she used on the prisoners to show them who is boss.
Whilst on The Jonathan Ross Show, which will be screened on ITV at 9.30pm tonight, Sam took Jonathan by the hand and pushed on his thumb. The sneaky move gave the TV host and shock, causing him to yelp, ‘Ow, that really hurt me.’” Sam apologised, saying, “Soz.”

Andy Otley is one of three singers with a famous relative, that shows up on tonight’s episode of The Voice.
The handsome singer travelled to Salford last year to audition for Kylie Minogue, Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson and while some of his fellow competitors were open about their family connections, Andy stayed quiet about his well known uncle.

During last year’s X Factor, singer Sam Callahan was frequently criticised by judge Gary Barlow, who, during the live rounds, even told the young singer, “Everyone in this competition is better than you!”
However, Sam wasn’t bitter about, and he told us that in fact, Gary’s negative comments had actually helped him stay on the show, given that his fans felt sorry for their idol and so increased the votes for him… Read more & comment »

For months now there has been much speculation that X Factor guru Simon Cowell is returning to the UK version of the show – he has of course been a judge on the American version of the show since it launched in 2011…
However, it’s been claimed today that a show insider has insisted that music mogul Cowell is set to “sign the deal very soon” to make his dramatic X Factor UK comeback this year. Read more & comment »

Matt Cardle has left rehab and thanked his fans for all their support over the last few weeks.
It was reported after Christmas that the former X Factor winner checked into The Priory after it was reported he’d been having issues with prescription drugs.
The ‘When We Collide’ hitmaker spent a few weeks working through his problems and today he thanked fans for all their ‘incredible support’ since news broke about his treatment.

Caroline Flack made a surprising revelation on the red carpet last night.
The Xtra Factor star was out with the stars for the National Television Awards and looked stunning as she chatted with press outside the O2 Arena, wearing a gorgeous white fitted jacket and some very short shorts.

Nigel Harman just performed as Simon Cowell for the first time and it’s fair to say that reaction has been very mixed.
The former Eastenders star is set to play the X Factor boss in the West End musical I Can’t Sing.
The show has been written by Harry Hill and will be loosely based on the ITV talent show. We already know there will be a character based on Cheryl Cole, one who bears an uncanny resemblance to Sinitta and of course Nigel will take on Mr C himself.

Dermot O’Leary has admitted that he would never take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The handsome star is currently the host of rival TV show The X Factor and isn’t planning to hop channels anytime soon.
He is loyal to ITV and to Simon Cowell and in an interview with Metro revealed that he wouldn’t take part in any reality TV show as a contestant.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has admitted that she would LOVE to join the X Factor judging panel this year, which is lucky, as there are a few spare seats going!
The Strictly Come Dancing star of course found fame as a singer, though she often models and occasionally DJs too and she thinks all that experience would help her relate to hopeful performers.
