CUs & MCUS. 07:00:04 British soldiers standing at overlook w/ valley & mountains in background, pan across light snow to mountains. 07:00:26 CU British General Oliver Leese in jeep talking to soldiers; eating apple & taking to ??; driven past in staff car. 07:01:23 British / Indian troops w/ mine detectors near rubbled buildings sweeping for mines w/ guard w/ rifle who marks mine, Indian soldier onto stomach & begins to clear away gravel; MCU removing fuse & gravel. 07:02:33 Armored Indian Mark IIA (?) scout car leading jeep up road, past w/ Sikh w/ headsest & other Indian soldiers in open top.
