Andrej Pejić (pronounced An-DREY PEJ-ick) (born 20 August 1991 in Tuzla, SR Bosnia-Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia) is an Australian androgynous model.

Pejic was born in Tuzla and has one older brother Igor. Their mother, Jadranka Savić, is Bosnian Serb and their father, Vlada Pejić, Bosnian Croat. The parents divorced shortly after Andrej's birth. During the Bosnian War, Pejic fled to Serbia with his mother, brother, and grandmother, settling in a refugee camp near Belgrade. When asked if he found his childhood difficult, Pejic said:

After the refugee camp, the family settled in Vojska village near Svilajnac. Andrej met his father for the first time when he was four years old. The siblings' mother wanted them to have a relationship with their father and to that end Pejic and brother Igor would spend a month every summer with their father.

After the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia, Pejic's mother felt unsafe and decided to initiate immigration process for Australia. In 2000, the family moved to Melbourne, Australia as political refugees when Pejic was eight years old.

Steve Madden (born 1958) is the founder and former CEO of Steve Madden Ltd., a footwear company.

Born in Far Rockaway, Queens, Madden grew up in adjoining Lawrence in Nassau County, New York.

Steve Madden, Ltd. was named "Company of the Year" for 2006 at the Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City on December 5, 2006. Madden said, in accepting the award, that he was going to use this award as a stepping off point for improving his company's image.

In 2001, the SEC filed charges against Madden in Federal Court in New York state, alleging SEC violations. [1] Because the violations weren't criminal in nature, the SEC was seeking to recover $1,637,000 in a combination of illegally avoided losses, interest, and a civil penalty.

In 2002, Madden was convicted of stock manipulation, money, and securities fraud. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison, and was made to resign as CEO from Steve Madden Ltd and from the board of directors.
